Has anyone taken any profits on PXLW? Finally, one hit that I over weighted a little. I bought in back when this was announced in November and sold for the first time today (trimmed 20% and letting the rest ride for a while). Feels great to finally have a winner and I’m happy to be able to take a little off the table at this level. I’ll probably do the same again (sell 20% of my remaining position) if we get into the double digits.
Well done, I sold earlier in Jan. Seems like this could be the start of a rotation from large to smaller caps. I am hoping that is the case, fingers crossed. Today I have been through most of my holdings and sold those that show continuing drops with a preference for those showing a trend of reversal.
I trimmed a little on it today too, as my cash in count was depleted when I filled my WISA to my standard amount today.0

Being a member of the SF subscription I have received the teaser for IK’s NEF “The State of California has tapped one tiny $227 million company.” Clearly this is an EV charging company and looks to be $BEEM, the valuation fits, is that correct?

Absurd. DOGE is quintessential speculation. Check out $DAG and $LTX. Have recommended both on here when they were 1/3 their current value. Unlike DOGE, both projects have real world utility and compelling tech and neither can be easily manipulated by random CEO tweets.
Why does crypto have to be so serious? Doge has a great community. Have a little fun.
I agree @Dex. I wouldn’t put the house up on it but a little fun money won’t hurt. My son told me to buy some at .3 and .7 cents. Of course I did not. I waited until the .20’s.
My son told me about bitcoin in 2012. My husband and I are still trying to figure out if he actually bought some before he graduated earth school in early 2014. Why would he tell me about it, and not buy it for himself, when it was so cheap back then? Needless to say I’m a hodler of bitcoin, Etherium, and Cardano, etc…… and now Doge.
The Cleveland Browns have an awesome community and the dawg pound has lots of fun during the regular season. What are they missing? The Lombardi trophy and players decorated with SB rings. Personally I want it all – to have fun while I’m winning and making money. Besides, PM isn’t recommending $DOGE bc of its fan base. I just think its a less than stellar investment rec…but party on Dex.

I’m getting in, but only in a very small way. Bought more BTC today, after reading yet another story re: institutional buyers.
So to be clear, this is NOT a crypto flash trader alert right? I dont think I want to own a crypto longer term that has no utility use. It already has a market cap of around 40 billion which is the 7th highest market cap. I might be ok with a fast trade based on technicals, but with all the other options in crypto, I will pass on this recommendation. If I’m going to invest in an iffy coin longer term, I am going to go with one that has a working product, is actually being used by crypto community, and has a much smaller market cap for room to grow, much like the 100x stocks. But thank you for the alert.
Not a ID rec. this came out in PU. Odd, to say the least. The only possible reason I can speculate about is the involvement of the ETH kid, and someone from Musks inner circle getting on the board.
But this crypto has no set “printing” and therefore can be inflated by issuing more. And utility? None that I know of. Perhaps the involvement of serious people in its future development is why he’s recommending.
Still, why in PU, which is supported to be more established stocks? It’s not making sense to me at this point.
100% with you questioning why this is in PU. I personally expect stocks with forecasts, SEC filing requirements , balance sheets and ways to properly measure valuation from a stock picking service recommendation. In the flash crypto service? Sure. But along side other stocks? No thanks. Paul recommending DOGE doesn’t really convince me its something worthwhile, and i’m afraid it risks tarnishing his other PU recs.
My thoughts exactly – weird – investment ??
Did anyone see news? I know it’s been all a joke up to now but this week Vitalik Buterin, creator of ETH, joined the dogecoin board along with an Elon Musk advisor. If anyone watched the B word conference, Musk (although mainly owning BTC and a smaller amounts of ETH and DOGE) pointed out flaws to Bitcoin that he said believes could be solved with other projects “such as DOGE”..
I got in DOGE at .004 thanks to a joke with a family member and sold at like .08 because I rode the speculation but didn’t believe it had utility at all. then bought more later and sold it again just before Musk went on Saturday Night Live. So I haven’t taken it seriously either.
But I got back in last month for a small long term position. Why? There was not even a team supporting doge development anymore when I first bought. Now there’s that and a huge following. Imagine getting to shape a project however you want and know you have a huge following already in place ready to eat it up.
I don’t have a huge position compared to others coins. I think for this bull run there will be better performers. I think the overall crypto market will pull back in the next year and I plan on making my DOGE bag a bit bigger then with an eye on the next big bull run. I don’t know if it’ll ever be bigger than the BTC and ETH but I think as the entire market cap of the space rises it still has 10x potential in less than 5 years. That would put its market cap around where ETH is now. With ETH and others obviously being much larger too.

Good advice here! And I agree with your confusion about DOGE, I think everyone is surprised here. I might get in an equal weighted position too, I have like 100 of his picks, so 1% won’t break the portfolio, haha.

HYRE. So there was unusual option activity – a lot of September 17 10.00 calls were purchased on August 17 and August 20. HYRE took a beating after the last earnings report. Given the low market cap and ability for big money to move the stock by hitting the bid, am I crazy for thinking that whoever purchased all those options is going to manipulate the price higher, sell the options for huge gains with the leverage options provide, and then dump the stock? In other words, is it fair to expect the stock to move higher for a while, but then at some point prior to, or just after, September expiration, see the stock plummet again? I have a position in HYRE and am thinking about trimming some if the stock continues to move higher, with the expectation of repurchasing shares if and when the stock drops again.
Could be that, or it could be that someone saw the bottom on 8/20 and was betting that the ‘correction’ on 8/10 was an overreaction and was betting the price would recover in a quick amount of time. I’m betting it sees 13-14 before 20 days pass.

I had a lot of trouble sending to other wallets because of gas fees. I couldn’t get it to work half the time. It’s mobile only. Don’t like that. Fees are kind of high. Not real easy to navigate. Good selection of coins, I guess. KuCoin is better.

Looks like he lost the plot on this one since it spiked to ~$420 last week and now it’s down to ~$350

A bit disappointed. I bought twice more, and those are not in the money. I’m going to hold those later purchases for possible future sale. AAVE’s high is over 600, and it’s one I have a separate HODL position in, so, don’t mind holding these late two buys longer.
The next level of support for AAVE is at $330. Will monitor to see if it can break through.

AAVE is one I like long term as well. I don’t have any HODL positions aside from BTC and ETH. The first time I ventured out from those two was with Crypto Flash Trader. I know it is a trading service, and 20% is good for that timeframe, but I also like this one enough to turn it into a longer term hold. Hope we all make the right decision here 🙂
