Today ID recommends selling Aave (AAVE) for a 10% loss.
Ok. This tells me that ID has no idea what he’s doing.
Wait, a 10% loss for ID? Is that better or worse than his recent average?
PM posted this on Twitter this morning: “going to add $TTD $NFLX to PIZZA today buy $1k at yesterday’s close — it’ll officially become PINTZZA but I’m going to still call it PIZZA” WTF? I’ll just leave this here for everyone to digest. But it sounds like this “PIZZA” may cause constipation.
PM subsequently posted an update of all his PIZZA portfolio holdings today on Twitter. He started this a month ago on 04-23-2022. It’s only down about 20%. So it’s holding up well compared to his other portfolios.

Looks like AAVE hit $108 today, at the higher end of his recommended entry. Hope anyone how bought at $104 didn’t sell for a loss.
It looks like this service only works well in a bull crypto market, we’re definitely not there yet.

Oh my Bloodbath in the market today. Crypto is crashing too!
Many stocks have already receded to their March 2020 pandemic lows. I don’t like saying it, but I can see them going even lower. I’m certainly annoyed but I’m not panicking at all. It will take a few years possibly to recover. I do believe DCA is the way to go to even have a chance for recovery for many of the stocks from PU and Banyan Hill. But I also think it is too soon for DCA, because they are likely to fall even further. In addition to subscribing to the PU service, I also opted to receive updates from True Options Masters, part of Banyan Hill. I’m not shilling this service at all, and I often don’t even buy their recommendations. But options traders have no bias one way or the other with the market direction, since you can buy both calls and puts (or sell calls and puts). It is refreshing to hear a realistic view of the market from them, since I think we only get a heavily one-sided view from PM and his team. Another thing to consider outside of options is inverse ETFs. Watch out for leveraged ETFs and understand that they are not meant as long-term holds. But it’s another way to play a bear market.
I bought some shares of equities that I like, not much though, as it may dip lower. Thanks for your sharing your thoughts.

I have some major losses on PM picks (realized and unrealized) as well as other holdings and I see a very bumpy road for at least several months and I might be interested when it drops about 40% from Paul’s buy range.

Today the grand master of crypto ID recommended selling SUSHI for a 20% loss
Didn’t he just recommend SUSHI last week?
My investments have done really poorly since last summer. If I want to feel less down about it I can calculate the annualized rate of loss and compare it to ID’s sushi annualized loss. If it is a 20% loss in a week or so I easily have that beat as my loss is less than 100% annualized.
I am not trying to crush any spirit, Ian King made the same mistakes in 2018 during that downturn, to recommend buying and every position lost money…
Common sense will tell you to not buy right now!

But that’s about all I would do until bitcoin is done dropping…
For the 100x I would only buy a few positions, same on true momentum, or just put in very low buy orders that fill when the market is down enough.
All it takes, is for the fed to announce, that we are in a recession finally, which in reality is probably months out of sync…
BTC/USD is projected to drop as low as $8,000 in the not-so-distant future. I am pausing my DCA until further notice. I have DCA’ed the past 3 months only to watch each purchase drop in value.
I don’t envy the position ID is in. He sells a service based on an algorithm that is his ‘secret sauce.’ He starts the service early July 2021 and for 2 solid months has consistent gains. The market tanks after Labor Day for about a month, rises again until early/mid-November, and has been on a downward trend ever since. Imagine if you subscribed to his service and he doesn’t issue a buy or sell alert for 8 straight months? That’s what he should have been doing. But his customers would be questioning what they are paying for.
His service reminds me of when I used a couple different crypto trading bots. You set up your buys and sells based on TA indicators such as MACD, RSI, SMA, EMA, Bollinger Bands, etc. All works great in an upward market. You are trying to maximize gains by buying at micro dips and selling at micro peaks as you ride the wave up. The problem is, in a down market, your algorithm will produce loss after loss.
as a subscriber I complained to Banyan Hill – I King’s promise: reveal 7 coins… lol he didn’t have to make that promise
I own every one of the 100x picks, and they are down a lot. They must be near the low, the last few times the markets were down my portfolio of Paul’s picks was up a small amount or almost unchanged. As they say, hope springs ethereal.
