Curious if anyone has also read the article and done some initial screening work on this company.

I received the same promotional mailer. Typically when I get these mailers I will look at the charts and see the stock is in an uptrend. However, it then falls back quite a bit a few weeks later and sometimes keeps going down – mostly due to the stock being pumped and the long term holders seeing the rise as a gift and opportunity to take profits (or mitigate losses).
This one seems different (only in that regard) as the stock price has decreased with the promotions. You could also take a look at the trading volume being increased at the same time. Does this mean that the buyers are allowing for the more knowledgeable sellers to cash out? If not, then the ask would be greater to match increased demand, driving the price higher. This hasn’t happened.
It appears they are consistent with releasing news to increase exposure. Yet a downward movement.
Keep in mind I’m only looking at the chart. If anyone else with more knowledge of the company itself (beyond what the promo mailer has) it would be great to hear it
Has Peter Thiel actually invested in this one? I’ve seen nothing to that effect, though his name is dropped regularly regarding lots of pscychedelic medicine startups — he is a major funder of Compass Pathways (CMPS) and ATAI Life Sciences (ATAI) in this space, I believe (or at least he was, haven’t looked recently).
I was hoping there were more insights into the company itself beyond what’s readily available. I’ll keep on a watch for now and thank you for the guidance. I’ve seen those patterns before and clearly they are applicable to this stock. Thank you for the reminder to keep a logical approach. Regards.
Take care. Pretty much every pump-and-dump stock from the cannabis space that ended up fizzling out is going to be tempted to rebrand itself as a psychedelic company and hope to catch another bubble. A story as old as Vancouver.
Mr. Johnson, you are correct. To this date, there is no evidence he invested directly in this firm. It’s just his exposure to this sector that is getting leveraged on the teaser. If that changes, i’ll make sure to update this thread. Thanks for the response.
