Dylan Jovine scary teaser about China invading Taiwan by November 30th and how we can save ourselves by buying his serviceI just got this via The Early Bird Investor newsletter. Dylan Jovine predicts that China is about to declare war on Taiwan, thus tanking the stock market, disrupting America’s leadership role in the world and possibly leading to WWIII. But all is not lost, because he can save us if we’ll just send him money. Well, that’s the basic idea behind his pitch. Anyone have any experience with this guy? He may have a point. China is definitely rattling its sabers, but I’m not sure they’re up for all out war anytime soon. Thoughts?

That’s the most worrisome hotspot in the world, at least when it comes to economic impact, but certainly nobody knows how it will play out. The invasion in November 2021 didn’t happen, so now he says it will be the end of February 2022! Anyways, his opinion on the results of such an invasion looks extremely scary, but very believable.

He’s like Peter Schiff saying the market is going to crash for the last 12 years. Eventually, he may be right.
The uninformed predictions on when the PRC will invade Taiwan are so . . . predictable. They reliably sprout with every event of seeming geopolitical significance no matter how irrelevant or open to misunderstanding that event might be.
As much as it may surprise folks who see the PRC and the CCP as revolutionary and leftist, President Xi and the CCP are conservative and cautious. You can bet everything you own that the PRC is exhaustively studying the Russian invasion of Ukraine. They are examining the failures of Russian intelligence, campaign planning, C2, training and equipment, all areas where the Russian military was supposed to excel before the gross mistakes of the present conflict. They will seek to understand how Russia so miserably lost the information high ground. The PRC is minutely studying the utility of western weaponry like anti-tank and anti-air systems, the tactics of Ukrainian resistance, and the unexpected cohesion of the democracies. The PRC is acutely watching the U.S. and NATO reaction to Putin’s frequent nuclear sable-rattling. They are investigating how Taiwan and the U.S. might use the same information. They will continue this work and then will develop and train new doctrine and perhaps new equipment.
The Russian failure in Ukraine may not be as momentous a military mind-f @<# to the PRC as was the U.S. initial campaigns in Kuwait and Afghanistan but fully understanding the new military math is a work of years. The PRC has not fought a war since 1979 and that did not go well. The PRC is deep-down cautious so don't expect anything soon unless the Taiwanese do something utterly boneheaded after their next presidential elections.
Hi, with all my respect, I think Dylan is using a massive psychological scare tactic to create momentum for a big collective fear, and like that, he will move people’s investments out of several portfolios and start pomping other investments in which he has a personal interest and get huge commissions, in other words, his is trying to pump a new whale and get money out of it.

I expect this Dylan Jovine pitch about war with China continues to be a periodic refresh of his pitch for what he was calling the “5G Arrow” weapon, as a tool to protect the Navy in the Pacific… that was touting Leidos (LDOS) because of one of its subsidiaries. Though I confess that I haven’t looked at recent versions of the ad, it’s possible that he has pivoted to a different stock.
What is the new coin then? Plus 3 others hyped. And why don’t gumshoe buy his plan and then we will know and not have to guess??
