under the nose

By twycked, February 21, 2022

Do we continue to ask Travis if purchasing a newsletter (financial) or if we think if so & so is a good stock when the answer is right under our noses? You pay a monthly pittance to this fellow, and when I’m down in double figures (I do love those tech stocks), this wizard is up in double figures since the beginning of the year. I subscribe to all this useless junk whenever my portfolio dives and I’m down 30% from my all-time high which I made on my own. I don’t allow my bank’s IRA gurus to place me in one of four packages of mutual funds, depending on how aggressive you are. I’m 69, so long term, being ten years to many fund managers, is like playing craps. My wife and I go to purchase a tree and we have the same thought, how tall do you think it might be in ten years? I’m sorry. My mind seems to wander lately, so back to my original thought. If you come to this site, who is it you trust? People, if you want to make money, it’s right under your nose! And especially now. My big nose.
