Stansberry has just put out a video entitled “U.S. Caught in the Crossfire” stating that “only hours after Russia invaded Ukraine, nine Chinese warplanes breached this small island’s airspace”. The island is, of course, Taiwan and the issue – as we all know by now — is the shortage of computer ships.
The video addresses why the U.S. cannot build its own foundries and chip-making facilities fast enough to meet the ever-growing demand for semiconductor chips. However, they see an opportunity in investing in TOOLMAKERS that are absolutely needed even before chip manufacturing takes place.
As expected, they will provide the name of the #1 Computer Chip Toolmaker – i.e. “THE most trusted partner to the world’s leading semiconductor companies” – for free if the reader tries out their flagship newsletter.
Does anyone know the toolmaker they’re talking about?

According to Dave Lashmet @ Stansberry Investment Advisory dated Feb 2nd they are pitching Applied Materials ( AMAT) with a Buy up to $160 . What do others think of this company at this time ??
Lashmet also is pitching on 2/2/22 “ Lam Research ( LRCX ) as a Buy up to $650 as “The Number 1 Computer Chip Toolmaker in another Special Report so this one mentions “ Toolmaker “ so this is more likely the one you are referencing ? Any thoughts from anyone on LRCX ??
Thank you, bvtides1, for possible research items AMAT & LRCX. I had started to look at ASML Holdings (ASML) as well due to an article I read that it is expected to grow into a $500B business this year due to its lithography machines that companies like Taiwan Semiconductor need to make the smallest and most sophisticated chips.
Hoping for more input from others if not Travis himself.
