SUI – SUN COMMUNITIES INC – FoolishnessSo, today’s Fool video was about REITs and how they are where you want to put your cash for the next couple of years. Their teaser is SUI. For a growth stock, with a 3.53% dividend, it is down 25% this year.
So, I am thinking are REITs really a good idea? I remember real estate crashes very well, and it was not a good thing. I see real estate prices lowering/moderating down here in Florida.
What are your thoughts on REITs?

I kinda like buying REITs at a discount, buying & selling options against the stocks, & (often) collecting double digit dividends.
