written by reader not sure what to say or how this works

I’m wondering if anyone has heard about the fact that Amazon is supposedly going to be coming out with their own crypto coin. Not the one that they already have. Also, they are now hiring (recently posted) a digital currency & Blockchain product lead. Supposedly this is going to cause a certain cryptocurrency to explode to astronomical highs. Does anyone know of this and what coin it may be. I’ve been trying for the past couple years to figure any of this crypto crap out. So far all I’ve been able to accomplish is loosing about 12Gs. Coinbase got me real good.

A few personal thoughts on your comments. Coinbase is I think amongst the biggest exchanges and legit. (I don’t use them) But the exchanges (crypto or stocks) don’t loose your money, our inability to read market conditions and sentiment do. Don’t take this as a personal critique, I’m in the same position. I’ve been diversified in cryptos since 2007, in that time saw one of my very small stakes in a crypto go to $70,000 AU, which is worth $30 now and not traded on my exchange anymore. Next “winter “ I added more positions and saw my account go to over $100 g’s, at the moment it’s worth about $10 g’s. But here is another point, you really only loose money, if you sell at a loss. Both the crypto and stock markets have gone up over longer timeframes, with the cryptos having been more volatile. If you have a meltdown every time we have a correction in the market and look at it as loosing money, it’s going to do your head in and cause you health problems. Try and take a long view and if you can afford it, take corrections as buying opportunities. I have learned a lot over the years and hopefully will be able to safeguard my gains in the future. If I had cashed out my previous gains around the top and gone back in around the bottom, I would be a millionaire already. Of course we all would, but learn to not be too greedy when taking profits and a little smart and cautious going back in. Think we have a bottom? You can’t be certain, so put in small amounts. It keeps crashing? Put in small amounts when you think a bottom is forming. Everything is going up? Small positions, it could be a bear rally. And always buy at a discount, never jump in and buy stuff that has just gone up 300%. Research as well, there are over 2000 ctypto projects and most of them are going to 0.
