Does anyone know what the clean fuel Compound “M” is that Tradesmith CEO Keith Kaplan says Billionaires are investing in and is set to disrupt the $100T energy sector?

I wrote some about that one in today’s Friday File.

Not sure why the #Macy’s appears at the bottom of my post. I didn’t put it there. I deleted my original post to get rid of it, and here it is again when I reposted. ~ skennett
Sorry about that, the system auto-matches tickers to help index comments… guess we need to exclude Macy’s like we do some other common words that are also tickers.
Here is a comment from Stock Gumshoe’s Friday File from 9/30/22:
“…most of today’s Friday File is about a teaser from TradeStops Pro about “Compound M.” Compound M is just “methanol,” which is one of the compounds you can make from natural gas, with some potential as a cleaner energy source (it can also come from carbon dioxide, or from biomass), but the tease for a big Compound M producer is just for Celanese (CE) a specialty chemicals company that is cheap and about to make a huge acquisition, so it might be appealing, but it’s not really a “methanol” story in the way Kaplan teases, they make methanol as a feedstock for their chemicals, not as a new alternative fuel. Kaplan also teases Trinity because it makes and owns railcars which can transport methanol, but, again, that’s a small part of Trinity’s business. I’m intrigued by Celanese, just because it’s so cheap and because Berkshire Hathaway has become a big owner this year, but I’ll wait to see how their big reliance on the auto industry plays out next quarter before I think about buying.”
