Any ideas about which LNG stock Tilson is pitching for a supposedly massive 1,000% gain in 12 months ?

Could be Tellurian
Don’t know but if you run a stock scan for <$2, LNG, CEO has deep, experience, Houston Tx based you only get a few possibilities. The pitch takes place on Port Arthur but no liquification permits have been filed for PA by any company trading <$2. That pretty much leaves southern Texas Corpus Christie/ Brownsville or Louisiana.
I thought it may be Tell. But Tilson actually pitched it several months back when it was $4 or so. And Travis covered it here. So I thought this may be something new possibly.
I suspect it is TELL. They lost two big partner commitments when they had not secured the deft funding they needed. The partners took advantage of a clause allowing them to bail after 12/31;2022. The original agreement was structured in a way that TELL could have a windfall if market prices went a certain way, limiting their partners ability to share the windfall The CEO was the former head of Cheneire so knows the business. He says in a video recently released that he has several potential equity partners he may be able to close over the next few months. The project (Driftwood) needs a huge amount of debt financing in addition to some billions of equity involvement. With interest rates what they are it raises some doubt if the project will ever make it off the ground. Still,TELL has a gas production arm that is profitable and throwing off a few hundred mil in cash so there is a floor under the stock, price just don’t know what that is.
Unfortunately, most every tip I’ve taken from Empire has been a loser. I joined their entry low end newsletter for a special offer, I think it was $50 for 2 years. Read their stock picks and said what? Amazon, Facebook, Apple, etc. Certainly not insightful. But Whitney’s daily letter is entertaining.
Yes, his most impressive recommendations I have in mind were: SPCE and VLDR.
AFter listening to Tilson’s spiel, I think it NGL
NGL is based in Oklahoma and doesn’t export LNG to Europe as he says in the video. It has run up a lot from $2.00 from that time the video came out though.
