Aurora Innovation, Inc AUR – anyone following the driverless long haul success of this company? 70% of the US freight is moved overland by trucks these days.AUR autonomous trucking operation in Texas is beginning to have some route success. I am not qualified to examine the fiscal aspects of the stock, but have noticed it has been beaten down to an all time low. I haven’t seen any comments in anything we follow via newsletters on Gumshoe, I know it via some of the technology we worked on for it as a customer. Anyone following this stock or this story and have an eveulation on it? thanks, Everlast.

Haven’t ever looked at Aurora Innovation (AUR) qualitatively, that would be a judgement call about whether their technology or their partnerships are likely to turn into a real business at some point… right now, it looks like they’re still mostly an R&D shop that’s burning about $200 million in cash per year. At that pace, they have enough to get through to next Summer before they’ll need to raise more capital, so I imagine they’re crossing their fingers that they’ll make enough commercial progress to bring headlines about optimism so they can raise money at higher prices.
