James Altucher is promoting his crypto picking service ($1,995) hinting at 5 alt coins that stand to benefit from ethereum’s Duncan event, set to take place on March 13, 2024. According to google, The Dencun upgrade marks the beginning of “The Surge” era in Ethereum’s roadmap, paving the way for achieving mass scalability through layer-two rollups. These rollups will make Ethereum more accessible and user-friendly, driving adoption and utility across various sectors, including DeFi 2.0.

I am also interested. Holy crap – that guy can specialize in taking up dead air time. Right away I knew he was talking about the Ethereum upgrade. But could not stomach watching to the end. that was 30 min of my life I will never get back.

Every time one of his videos comes up I see the same sales funnel used by all YouTube moguls (Time limits, fear of missing out, limited space, etc). 2/3ds of the videos are just rehashing the same crap about his history and how awesome he is.
Instead of selling subscriptions, if he really has an inside track, he would say, hey invest with me, give me your money and I will return (enter amount here) minus fees. But selling his newsletters is how he really is making money, not through investments he is pitching.
Any insights would be much appreciated…

TRU – Trufi is built on the Etherium Blockchain.
Hi Ron – thank you for providing this but are you sure about ROSE. It’s on the OASIS network, it’s own propriatary blockchain tech and not on Etherium. Not sure how they would benefit from Etherium Duncan Event. Any insights you can share?

I used to subscribe to Altucher’s crypto service. That was up until a few months ago. I know that back then, he was recommending those five coins already, claiming they were good long term investments.
All five of them did really well since then. But then, it seems like all the top 100 coins have done well since NOV’23, except XRP (which rose a little bit today– 3/11 — but generally has lagged behind).
If you know the answers, and you own them, if you tell us, we buy, and your position goes up in value. Win-win!
One tiny coin he mentioned today in that video was quant. Which I already own. I need the other 4 TINY COINS, they should be from $.20 to around $1.00.
He said the first tiny coin was quant in the long video about eth.
