I don’t have any special insight into Luckin (LK), and I expect you’d have to be in China and spend a lot to do in-person research at all their facilities to have any confidence in what’s “real.” The brand is obviously strong, so at some price the company is probably a buy for strong stomached investors, but when a company admits that they’ve been lying, there’s no need to try to sniff out what might be real… I’d rather just avoid them.

I had already nibbled a few weeks back – the Foole was pushing them pretty hard. Now my few shares are down enough that i wouldn’t get much benefit from selling ’em. So I think I’ll hang on, instead, and see if i get anything different by riding it out.
