Dr. David Goetz is an Allergist and Immunologist, who started his career as a Ph.D. Chemist at Princeton University. He served for 27 years in the US Air Force, beginning at the Air Force Weapons Laboratory before attending the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and receiving his M.D. in 1981. He completed his Pediatrics Residency at Kirtland AFB, Mississippi in 1984, and practiced Pediatrics at Elmendorf AFB, Anchorage, Alaska from 1984 to 1986. He completed his Allergy and Immunology fellowship at Lackland Air Force Base Medical Center, San Antonio, Texas in 1988 and subsequently served as Director of Research and Assistant Chairman of the Air Force training program until Col Goetz retired from the Air Force in 1998. He joined Exemplar Allergy in Morgantown, WV with a focuses on patient care in Allergy and Immunology and clinical research. His clinical research in private practice focused on Asian ladybug allergy, and Vitamin D deficiency as a major cause of hives and angioedema. He retired from full-time allergy practice in 2015
