As a fundamental investor, I found the Benj Graham Value letter interesting for ideas… particularly during these times when balance sheets are so important. Even more worthwhile than the “stock picks” is the availability of the editor, Royden Ward, who openly solicits & responds to reader questions & comments.

The content is a little slim but, it includes two different portfolios & also a grading for 250 stocks that meet the criteria. I can’t think of anything I specifically bought because of the letter. However, that may be because I have been more of a seller than a buyer during ’08-’09.

Those interested may want to buy through http://www.stockfocus.com the first time around which offers discounts for 4-5 month trial subscriptions. That’s what I did.
