Many, if not most, of the weekly picks are above the current buy points. So, if the stock is at 48, mr. Cintolo says “try to buy under 46.” Well, duh, you want to buy as cheap as possible, but most of the time you can’t. In my opinion, this is a real weakness with Top Ten Trader.

Ten stocks every week! Too difficult to follow and manage. You will get crazy to follow the letter. May be one has to find one good one out of ten. I have tried diffierent criteria without any success. Editors’ choice is no better than throwing darts.

I learn about stocks I have never heard of, and I have done extremely well with some of their recommendations. Others….not so much. I do enjoy reading the commentary. When I do invest in one of their choices, I try to be disciplined and sell if my loss is more than 15 percent. I also sell about a third when the stock is up 40%. Works well so far.
