It is a total waste of time and money. I am sensitive to wasting hours and hours of time, with little infomation.
Spent $995 on T-SPY, Tom’s “one trade challenge”. It is the only trade needed to make a living…….. His video cites a guarantee of $7995 (explained as either double your money invested or he will invite you to 4 trade-a-thons valued at that amount).
His method uses his proprietary roadmap that displays a chart showing daily range based on futures and the opening price.
I followed his method on his chat rooms and short messages for several months and finally decided that going into chat room was a total time waste (1% chat, 99% quiet). He schedules spontaneous webinars that proport to address what’s happening, but mostly they advertise a more expensive program of his.
After 4 months, I gave up with the chat room. Finally, at 9 months, I analyzed his trade log using TBUZ site. The analysis was for 8 months of his trades. On 79 trades ( 107 options traded), risking $500, the net gain was $545. The 200% guarantee (cost $995 x 2) should net $1990 . All trade recommendations are for total of $500 max risk, so it would take something like 4 years, 360 trades to reach the objective Disappointing for me, embarrassing for DTI.
I am waiting to hear back from DTI to see what the options of cancellation or switching to another service are.
DTI stands for “DiversifiedTrading Institute” and they certainly bombard you with new and confusing options. They have at least 4 option services (Busby, Rob Booker, Guy Cohen, Jack Carter, and more) and are constantly upselling which is annoying.
They do say Jack Carter has not lost an options trade this year,, as of Sept 27.
