I have been a member for several years at Elliottwavetrader.net. It is by far, the best technical analysis website I have been a part of. Avi and his staff are truly brilliant in identifying key Fibonacci levels at market inflection points. Most importantly, as several people below me have commented, Avi provides UNBIASED analysis that has kept me on the right side of the trade more often than not.
The site has several great analysts and members that add exceptional value. Weird comments. Confirmation bias contributes to results and how one sees the analysis. That is a personal battle not about the site.
I’ve been a member of EWT since 2012 and can safely say that Avi and his team have taught me so much, provided exceptional guidance, and most certainly positively changed my approach and mindset for investing. The site has a lot to offer everyone and there are many members who are absolutely amazing and willing to share ideas and learnings. I will say that one has to know what type of trader/investor she/he is (day-trade, swing, LT investor, options etc), in order to take advantage of the information, and to also avoid making mistakes. Avi reinforces this all of the time with the members. If you know your strengths and have a plan I am quite convinced there is no better site to identify opportunities, and equally as important, to manage risk.

I’m surprised at some of the negative reviews of Avi and ElliottWaveTrader.net. I guess anyone can misinterpret and screw up an account. But the total offering on the site includes the most likely Elliott Wave counts, the alternatives, the points where a count proves right or wrong, suggested stops, and general trading guidance. No one should blow up an account unless they are over trading, sizing positions too large, refusing to stop out and take a small loss, or just flat expecting EW to be a crystal ball.
I’ve been a member of his previous email service and various trading rooms on the site for 8 years. It started primarily as a teaching site and trading guide. In that respect alone I have had my money back and enjoyed the journey. But Avi (and his steady use of EW and Fibs) is not alone. He has gathered an impressive number of fellow analysts, some using other methods, and some using EW. No one has to agree with him and alternate views are regularly shared and discussed. The overall effect is really informative and enjoyable. And provides a good view of almost any trading vehicle or method you might be interested in.
Then there are the fellow members! Since this is an open discussion site (with a great focus on learning) and members are encouraged to post, there is a great deal of help and interaction from some of the smartest people in the business.
You can always try the main service or any of the specific services on a trial basis. Search out the webinars and teaching material. It’s really good. Take your time and explore before you decide.

I’ve been a member of EWT for 7 years and have watched the site evolve over the years. The enhancement to services is outstanding…literally something for every kind of investor with specificity to time frames in trading philosophies. First and foremost, we’re all looking for education, guidance and honesty from Analyst’s, but what endeared me most is Avi’s constant concern for the financial well being of his subscribers. Risk Management is the first foundational block that all other guidance originates/builds from. The subscriber base is a fantastic melting pot of people from all over the world, so you get a world wide view on markets, which is very refreshing – sometimes we can get stuck in our own little sphere of influence. As is life, we will always run into good and bad people, but each and every one of us is in charge of our attitude’s and with that an attitude of Grace for others will accomplish much.
Avi and his team at Elliott wave trader are the best group of Analysts that I have ever come across . They give you detailed analysis on the financial markets to keep people on the right side of the tracks. Great community of like minded individuals all with similar goals. Must have service for all your financial needs!
I have been a member for three years now. Learning Elliott Wave is challenging. I believe many investors join thinking that they will be spoon fed trades. But, this site is all about teaching you how do your own analysis with the guidance of their very talented analysts. There are many videos and writeups about how to use the site. I believe many people do not take full advantage of the different offerings to learn. Without a doubt, my trading has improved dramatically. I am not very mathematically inclined. Therefore, at times it has been a challenge. But, I try to learn as much as possible. Whenever I have had questions, they were answered rapidly and accurately. You get out of this site what you put into it. I am very happy to stay a member for many more years.
Hilarious only somebody as daft as Avi would spam this site with so many obviously false testimonials within 24 hours. Even written in the style of Avi!
It’s so blatant and obvious I cant believe anybody would be dumb enough to fall for it, if they do though they deserve to lose their money.
A friendly word of advice to those looking in. Avi’s cyber attack started on 21 Sept. discount all comments after that date. EWT rating was low 2s just two days ago. Now he and his burner accounts have pumped it to 4.3.
And by the way keep up the great work Avi you are the best contra indicator I have ever come across and I use you and your dumb money calls regularly. Even just this week in Seeking Alpha you called for falls to 3200 if the market broke last Friday’s Sand P low. It did, so I bought knowing 3200 would never be reached. It rallied from 3228. Many thanks maestro. LOL!
On a serious note though my sympathy though is with Travis Johnson and Stock Gumshoe who are trying to run a sensible site. Not sure how he deals with this.
Your name is quite fitting, I must say. And, you expect anyone to take YOU seriously?
The posts that have shown up recently is because I showed my members this site and what was being said. Think about it . . . why would members who have been happy for years come to a site like this . . . unless they are shown. We have 6000+ members who have been very happy with us for many years, as you can see. I know its hard for you to accept, but the truth is the truth.
I’m surprised by these comments. I’ve been with EWT since 1/1/12 and find the Avi and his associate analysts are exceptional. No one can predict the market accurately 100% of the time, but Avi and his team help give me an edge on the market. This site has worked very well for me for many years. I’m sorry it hasn’t worked for you, but It works well for many. Maybe you should put your money in mutual funds and let others invest for you.

Remind me not to listen to your investment advice: “knowing 3200 would never be reached”… hahaha
And these aren’t false testimonials. Avi just mentioned that there were a few people here disparaging his work and so we logged on to set the record straight. I have been a member for 3+ years and happily pay for the service because I make more than I spend… easily.
Day trading, out ages ago a good profit thanks to using Avi as contra indicator.

Yes agree. Rating in the 2s was actually probably a bit high back then because of that EWT analyst would obviously rate as 5 stars.
I’ve been a member of EWT for 5+ years. The analysis and discussion from Avi and team is outstanding! The content of the service is unmatched for the price. It’s a great community of investors/traders!
I’ve been a member of EWT since 2015. With no financial background, I was struggling to manage my family’s investment portfolio — until I found Avi. He has never steered me wrong and I have learned so much from him and the analysts on the site. I honestly don’t know where I would be without the daily guidance of Elliottwave Trader. IndnStig is my moniker on the EWT site. I stumbled upon it a couple years ago and have never looked back. What I like about the site:
1. Professionalism: Avi and team maintain very high standards and present their analysis in a VERY constructive and useful manner.
2. Teaching: Each analyst is a BRILLIANT teacher and there is SO MUCH to learn from each of them, depending on one’s interests. They actually try to teach you and not just tell you what to do. That is phenomenal.
3. One place for everything: In one place I can learn and get better at Technical analysis, Elliott wave principles, Options, Futures, Forex, Commodities, Cryptocurrencies… the potential is endless. You can pick what you like.
4. World Class: not just the analysts, but there are multiple professional money managers on the site too who share their perspectives. You watch their actions and can see how the Pro’s manage money.
One thing a lot of people misunderstand about this site, is that people come looking for clear answers. Buy now, sell now. That is not what this site is about. Legally, they cannot do it. Their share their tools, their methods and show probabilities and ranges, tell you about best practices. The rest is on us. They teach you how to fish for yourself.
Amazing place to be if you want to get serious about trading and get good at it. Recommend in a heartbeat.
I have been a member of elliottwavetrader.net for a number of years and would highly recommend this service to anyone wanting to learn to be a better trader. Their focus on trade setups, teaching, and risk management has helped me become a profitable trader. Kudos EWT!
The EWT service is invaluable, I cannot imagine trading or investing without it! Not only are the analysts brilliant, so are many of the members who constantly post their trades, perspectives, charts and help others including beginners. It is an incredible community. The analysts are also exceedingly generous with their time and are responsive to endless questions, put up hundreds of charts, provide invaluable guidance in every kind of market, and even more importantly, provide multiple (and sometimes conflicting) perspectives (and trading methods) which underscores their intellectual honesty (no party line). Suitable for both pros and beginners alike (but don’t expect hand-holding).
Great site, with very talented analysts who come with a wide variety of trading backgrounds and specialties. Membership also includes folks with strong trading experience, including full-time traders. Technical analysis is included but it is often in support of EW analysis (all canned indicators fail at some point, some often; it’s knowing when and how to apply them). There’s a wealth of knowledge here but it gets tricky if you’re not looking to learn and just want the ‘buy here, sell there’. None of these analysts pretend to be fortune tellers like other services or authors who might call for a bottom throughout a 6 week decline and then celebrate on week 7.
EWT analysts are insightful and clear about concerning price regions, where they might expect a buying or selling opportunity to reside. This game is about getting the probabilities on your side, and if someone were to give you a 60/40 or 70/30 prediction (my numbers; they don’t usually put a % on targets or direction), there is in fact action to be taken on your part if that 40% or 30% scenario takes place. They will tell you what price has to do to break a pattern, and these regions are explicitly defined in the analysis. Money management and risk analysis is also discussed for positioning and evaluating risk/reward, but it’s ultimately your book, and it’s important to follow along and be prepared for the lower probability outcome to unfold.
StockWaves is a great add-on service, which is an area where multiple analysts work together to track a basket of stocks (~300), which are expected to outperform the market or their sectors. They’ll also screen for ideal wave setups which is amazing if you’re the type who has their own ideas on various sectors, but you don’t have the time to analyze every chart in that group for near term trade ideas.
The website itself is well developed, with customizable features allowing you to quickly locate posts from certain analysts, members you follow, individual stocks, indexes, etc. Take some time to follow if you’re new to trading (there are areas and posts dedicated to beginners). Highly recommend overall.
I have been with EWT and Avi since 2012. I have learned more and made more money then I ever thought possible. While working on my daily trade journal I realized how much I have improved over the years. The people at EWT provide the guideposts and I put in the effort. I have made more profits than I possibly could on my own and its enjoyable to trade fulltimeagain.
I have been a member at EWT since 2015 and go under the username Roxythedog. I have been subscribing to some investment sites before joining EWT, cannot exactly remember how and where i stumbled upon EWT, but so very happy i did! I did not have much experience in trading so it took me a good while to start to understand how EW and Fib pinball works (still no master), but by listening and learning from the pros over the years i definitely have become a better trader!I did loose a lot of money in the beginning but that was because i was too confident, too aggressive and just plainly didn’t know what i was doing! I took a time out and didn’t trade for a good while, just following and trying to understand it all, reassessing and trying to focus. Once i did that, oh boy! Hand on my heart, EWT and its team is truly something out of this world! There are times when i’m not sure if they are humans after all, lol! In my eyes, Avi is as real as anyone can get! He truly in his heart cares that you become a better trader and prosper. He is a person i very much respect and look up to, genuine, honest and objective! I am very very happy i have found Avi and his amazing team, i know that with them my personal and financial future will be better! Highly recommending Elliot Wave Trader!
I learned about Avi Gilbert and Eliot Wave Trader after joining Seeking Alpha in 2014. My goal then was to learn about investing and take responsibility for my life’s work and investments. As I followed along with the SA crowd in my area of interests it dawned on me that the free forums wouldn’t move me toward my goals, at least not quickly, so started considering and learning about paid services.
My first site membership was a regretful choice before the end of the first year. I’ll not mention the name so please don’t ask. By then I was following articles written by a man named Avi Gilbert. Having a math and science background in college, his take on Elliot Wave intrigued me but what attracted me to Avi the person was more important in my estimation than wave theory.
Knowing and being honest with oneself is IMO, the most important character trait to succeed in any venture. I love what William Shakespeare famously wrote: “To thine own self be true”. The second most important to succeed IMO is willingness to make the mental and emotional changes self knowledge informs. That’s where most people struggle IMHO, certainly myself. Leaning toward the compulsive, my awareness of the need for guidance to learn new ways of seeing trading opportunities and if possible to unlearn bad emotional habits came into my vision as a stepping stone toward my goals. Reading Avi’s articles my believe grew that his methodical non-emotional approach to trading could help me achieve my investment goals so decided to try his service at Elliot Wave Trader.
Since joining Eliot Wave Trader in August 2019 I’ve learned much about trading. The biggest benefit to me personally has been the patient steady guidance I lacked and needed. Trading is certainly about charts and trends , but what I’m gaining most from daily visits to EWT is the sense of a patient smart trader. The wave theory and math was never a problem for me, and in that measure the site provides many expert analysts, too many in fact for me to follow and interpret them all, and I know the charts will be accurate and adjusted daily, as needed. What I love most about EWT is the precise incremental approach to trading, from micro to macro outlooks.
Others might provide you a abetter analysis of the technical capabilities at EWT. I view myself as still somewhat of a novice but will add that the site analysts provide consistent chart views with fantastic accuracy, and when there is need for adjustments, it’s never a surprise to me because I’ve learned to ride the waves posted on the charts. They have helped me make strides toward the trader from my vision that took a leap into the unknown back in 2014. And there are far more services available than what I’ve been able to take advantage of as yet, although I plan to soon buy the Stock Chart service as my profitability goal is nearing the point it’s justifiable to me.
I must qualify all this commentary by giving one last insight about me. I’m not one to cast my responsibility onto others. I’ve always firmly believed in my own responsibility for my own actions, not just in trading but across all of life’s boundaries. If you are like me in this you will understand when I say that no matter what may come, success in trading ventures is up to me, be it the good sense of when to get or out of a position. Starting with my goal to take control of my bounty and remove dependence of gains and losses from the hands and minds of others, to the changes and actions required to reach those goals, for me there will only ever be one person responsible since I made that choice, that man is me.
These are my honest and humble thoughts regarding Elliot Wave Trader. Blessings and good trading to you all.
Don’t make the stupid mistake I madd
I had done a free trial for the Eliot Trader which I found very advanced for me but I was still interested. After months and reading positive things here I decided to take a chance and subscribe. I wound up at EliotWave Forecast which makes the Trader seem like Sesame Street. I lost $200 non refundable since they pushed me to sign up for two months for the price of one and it is beyond anything I can understand or even want to spend time with. I am embarrassed to admit this but just thought I would warn others not to make the same mistake
I have being a member of EWT since 2016 and he analysis and discussion from Avi and team is outstanding! The fact that the analysis and comments are live in addition to the nightly update is unique and helpful to traders that trade alone like me. The services I joined has changed my trading style and made me a successful trader. Thank you Avi and the team!
Great site, member for over 2 years now. Stockwaves service is maybe the best thing I’ve ever found on an investment analysis site. Took awhile to learn/adapt Elliot Wave to charts, I am used to pure technical analysis on charts, so there is a little bit of a learning curve to EW. Invest the time to understand EW, and then apply the team’s fib pinball setups, and great opportunities are always presenting themselves! First class team and site! And note, does every single trade or setup work out? No of course not, and anyone claiming a 100% hit rate we all know is full of BS…that’s what stops and risk management are for! But for over 2 years now I am consistently amazed at the phenomenal calls the entire team makes on the site, consistency is the most important thing, and the team here has it. Along with Avi, Garrett and Zac and Harry Dunn are some of the best analysts I’ve ever come across on any site.
