Been with the site since the first year it started. The analysts and community contribute so much to my trading knowledge. No way they can always be right, but their percentages are well above average and they do a great job of stressing the importance of risk management. Awesome group of people!!
ElliotT Wave Trader: First of all great people. This site is a great community to discuss and learn Elliott Wave Theory. I especially respect the constant reminders about appropriate trade size, emotional control during trades, and understanding your risk. Highly recommend all new comer a spend time in the Education section.
I have been a member for nearly 8yrs and EWT has the most diverse group of analysts of any other site I know of….Its not just EW…they have an options trading expert, fundamental expert, swing trading experts, crypto expert, futures trading experts, a very well known TA expert and a world renowned Bayes expert. EWT really has something for every trader or investor.
I am a member since the beginning. Ewt has a great staff of analysts covering the market from different fields of technical analysis, not only Elliott wave theory. I appreciate their integrity and their capacity to listen to the market when things change.
Back in late 2012 I followed a user recommendation from Marketwatch.com to look into Avi Gilburt’s new Elliott Wave website http://www.elliottwavetrader.net with some wonderfully arcane stuff on Fibonacci Pinball, wave counts and some very left of field thinking on Technical Analysis that was, in retrospect, simply cutting edge for its time.
I joined some months after its initial launch and found an already tight-knit community where traders and investors, both fledgling and veteran (including some fund managers) could interact quite freely, equally and with some casual nonchalance on the market sidelines, all passengers in a larger journey.
EWT has always synthesized the experience of its many different members since Day One. Its long-term success however reflects the honesty and integrity of both its analysts and its dedicated community, that sometimes make EWT seem like a 2nd family.
7:49 Me: I had paid tens of thousands dollars for some stock market technical trading courses. But they didn’t help me make money at all. Fortunately I’m lucky finding out the Elliott Wave Trader, especially Avi and his team. Avi and his colleagues give me very clear markets’ big pictures and highest probability to trade. I believe they are the BEST stock market technical analysists in the world. Following their excellent works, I made money and I’m sure will continue making money definitely. That’s why I’m here for several years of the membership. My only concern is that Avi would be retired someday in the future. I hope he will never retire from this business!! ((:
Amazing number of fake reviews on here. Buyer beware this website has pumped its rating from low 2’s where it had been for years to high 4’s in just a couple of months.

For years? You guys continue to lie.
These reviews began in 2019, and were a hit job. In fact, several of the initial reviews said something to the fact that they “have been on our site for 4-5 years and it sucks.” These posts were complete hit jobs. So, I showed my members this site, and they posted their honest reviews over the last six months.
And, if you want to know if they are real, well . . . we have a two week free trial and you can come in and look up their handles and ask them YOURSELF!!!
I have the same worry as in your last sentence.
I’ve been a member for just under 3 years now (Crypto, Market Alerts and Smart Money) and I’ve seen the accounts that I manage for our family (401(k)s, kids’ college) increase so much that I can hardly believe it. I’m less than 40 and have already hit the minimum number that my wife and I outlined what we need to retire the way we would like to. The guidance that Avi and his team of analysts provide with clear conditions to enter and exit trades have taken a lot of the emotion and guesswork out of the trading process. There are also lots of technical and psychological lessons mingled in that have made me a much better trader. I plan to stay with this site as long as it or I exist.
Been on this site for almost a year now and it has been remarkable how reliable Avi has been guiding us through the market. It was my own fault I didn’t hedge against the downside possibility back in March of 2020. However, he was pounding the table to buy in an environment where everyone was so scared to do so. He did not guess this outcome. Over time, I became more confident in the work his team puts out and trading within the parameters made my life so much easier than guessing where the market was going to do next. If you want to take the MAJORITY of your doubt out of trading, you must learn his team’s principles and methods. It allowed me to quickly recover my accounts from the C-wave down that we experienced in March and go beyond where I was before. Looking forward to next year being prosperous!
I have been investing and trading for several years. I am generally conservative and focused on growing and protecting my capital. My success up until this year has been mediocre to good, nothing outstanding. I joined EWT and focused on their content in the mid part of 2020. Almost immediately my performance in investing improved. Avi Gilbert is the Leader of the Band and has a very clear unambiguous communication style that lends itself to teaching people how to trade using the Elliott wave Theory. With Avi is a team of professionals that also contribute to the site. What I find most beneficial is the real-time member Trading Forum where the specialists post their alerts and give guidance. They have email/test alerts so it is not necessary to stay glued to the screen. The community on the trading forum is several thousand strong and freely gives thoughts on trades and trading strategies. I know that every site is different, but this one diffidently works for me. YTD my trading account is up 164% and my IRA up 41%. It’s been the best year, thanks Avi.
Which service do you find most helpful? There is now the pinball wizard and the Eliot Wave forecast which has four different types of subscriptions. I had a free two week trial to the former and found it too theoretical for me to follow although I found it interesting.

Been a member for four months. As a former professional energy trader, I wasn’t sure if I would get any real value out of EWT. Avi’s proprietary pinball methodology is unbelievable. There are clear, defined parameters which make success rates exceptionally high. Avi and his staff cover equity indices, commodities, and individual stock names. Whether you’re a day trader, a long term investor, or just trying to learn more, this sight has it all. I am truly in awe and more excited than ever for my financial future. Avi has fostered an environment that is friendly to everyone from first time investors to seasoned traders.
I’ve been following Gumshoe for about 7 years and about the same with Avi Gilburt, and over the past few years joined his paid services. I’ve been investing for about 35 years, and have studied many trading and investing modalities. Avi is the best. He’s wise and conservative and accurate in his market timing EW analysis. He got me out of the market last February, and I got back in near the lows. Keep up the good work Avi – and Doc Gumshoe, who also is a wise and conservative and profitable investor.
Elliott Wave and Fibs are real and it does work. I was trained on TA and I practiced for years. I could never predict the hard right edge. I would get whip sawed to death in some markets. Using Elliott Wave has allowed me to trade with confidence regarding support and resistance. I have found EW to be very accurate. I trade option spread and this accuracy allows me to stay in the trade when the stock goes against me. My strategy works much better and I am looking to make 300 percent this year. My goal is 100 percent. My actual success looks like 300 percent.
What does EWT membership cost? I couldn’t find that on their website unless i signed up for a trial.
It’s about $100/month, and well worth it.

I’m a relatively novice trader and a member of Avi’s service for nearly two years now and feel compelled to tell anyone who cares to read this just how fantastic of a service Avi and his team provides. The analysis is absolutely unreal. I have followed multiple calls over the nearly two years and have back verified multiple calls and am just astonished at the accuracy. I used to spend hours and hours pouring over SA articles trying to decipher the never ending blathering of why stock A was going to up, only to find in the comments, 1000 reason why stock A was going down – an utter waste of time. Avi’s analysis is ZERO bias..no book to talk, no bullshit, no spin, no ego…no manipulation or clickbait articles. Just incredibly accurate analysis to trade. so, unless you like debating endlessly with 00s of strangers why ATT is the best investment ever or the worst investment ever…. dozens of times per month…I suggest you UNLEARN what you think you know. I would like to say THANK YOU to Avi. The learning I have gain and shift in perspective is truly incredible!
I just wanted to thank Elliot Wave Trader and its team for an amazing analysis that you are providing. I signed up in Aug this year, and almost canceled it a month into the trail. I couldn’t understand what you were talking about. I thought you guys were from Mars. Now, signing up with TMPW and keeping it has become one of the most important decision I made in my life. Since I started learning EW, I hardly read news anymore. Personally, I think people plug news into price reaction. Price reaction actually has nothing to do with news. Since Aug, my account is almost up 7 figures. So Thank you SO MUCH for your blue boxes everyday, and Please KEEP them there all the time
I must warn you that this review is being written by a person that just enjoyed their best two day return in a nearly 30 year investing history. BEST EVER. I turned to Seeking Alpha about 10 years ago to get news, stock insights and maybe find a service that would provide portfolio advice. I guess this is probably a typical story. A couple of years ago I started watching posts from Sentiment Speaks and noticed a different approach to things, so I began tracking performance which seemed to be superior to the others I was reading and following. Results are why we are all here, I think. I joined The Market Pinball Wizard last year to find out how in the world this team could be so right, so often, and with so much advance notice to allow time for investors to act ahead of the herd. What I found is mind blowing and counter to everything you read and hear elsewhere. It takes time to clear your head of existing beliefs and learn a new language of investing terms. I have seen many people quit TMPW because they are too stubborn or unwilling to invest in themselves by spending the time to become more educated in the approach. The regular members here are generous with their thoughts and current stock ideas. It is a diverse and global group of caring, generous people that combine with Avi and his team to make TMPW a great place to be. Those willing to work hard see their investments grow rapidly and consistently. Avi and his team work seemingly around the clock to provide the most awesome service available. I am interested in joining the Market Pinball Wizard of Avi Gilburt, and ready to learn what’s needed; just wanted to know does it provide analysis on individual stocks or only on index/ETF and metals/USO etc (so would I need 2 subscriptions to cover both?)? Second, I live in Asia so normally check US market when opens and then its night/sleep time – are the presentations which Avi makes live only or are they available after so I could catch them? Thanks .
Avi has begun the Market Pinball Wizard (MPW) service on SA since I became a full time participant in http://www.ElliottWaveTrader.net (EWT), which is a more comprehensive service, that costs more. I have not participated in MPW.
Given your time difference to US markets, I think you would find EWT most useful. There are analysts there working remotely from far outside the US. Mostly, the service is so comprehensive and incredibly beneficial, I just do not see how MPW could be a better bargain. Start a 15 day free trial, and you will know what I am talking about.

I still am interested in subscribing to ELIOTWave Trader.net but am confused by the number of divisions one can subscribe to. I would be interested to know which subscriptions within that umbrella people have found most helpful.
@fred The main one gives you access to the entire site’s community as well as a large package of analysis. This is the only one that’s required, all others are optional and can be additionally subscribed to or unsubscribed from on a monthly basis. Additionally you can trial each of the sub services for 2 weeks and cancel again within that time frame without entering a subscription.
The main one allows you to get to know all the basics, SPX, Gold, some currency and a large amount of the analysts on the site. I myself ran just on the main one for over a year before getting more once I knew my way around. The second most valuable one in my opinion is StockWaves. It gives you access to a ton of analysis for specific stocks, curated down to a list of 300 most interesting stocks EW-wise and notifications whenever any stock starts becoming interesting to buy from an EW perspective.
There’s many more sub services, trying to offer something for many different interests: things like intra day trading guidance on SPX, a special service for timing / cycles on SPX and Stocks, more specific services for trading Gold miners, for currencies, for Bitcoin, and so on. You can start out with just the main service and if you’re into stocks, the very first additional service that I’d recommend is StockWaves.
P.S.: As a Beginner it’s also quite useful to get to know the analysts and their thought process better by subscribing to the daily video one: “Avi & Garrett’s Live Video”

I agree with Hachre below. The Miners are my favorite, and right now—-mid June 2021, seems to be shaping up as one of the very best opportunities in that space. Stock Waves is also superb, as they give you a time for an optimal entry, support, resistance, target exit points, and explain the R:R at the time of the initial recommendation. Then every Thursday the analysts go over every one of the SW choices that has had any significant developments—in a seminar that sometimes lasts for two hours. Priceless.
Ditto as to the recommendation for “Avi & Garrett’s Live Video”; if I had followed that advice myself when I first started (in 2017) my learning curve would have been faster, and more fun.
One that stands out is the number of testimonials that have appeared over such a short period. look at some of the newsletters that have been on this site for years and they don’t even have half the testimonials ARVI has. Almost all the testimonials sound like marketing scrips. He has made many a wrong call, all you have to do is read his column on the market watch to see how often he has missed the ballpark completely, He also seems to spend an awful lot of time defending himself here., seems he has more time to fight then analyse anything

Avi, surprised but pleased that you responded. I an a new subscriber to your alerts and Stockwaves. I like very much to read what you have to say. I wish however I could follow the charts. I have read the educational material and listened to many of the videos, but they all presuppose that one know how to follow the charts. I wish you would offer a very basic orientation that uses only one chart and interprets all the information there. I am eager to be able to understand more than I do now. Thanks

We have a beginners webinar 3 times a week, which is the basics orientation. Also, we have a library of videos that provide further basics. Lastly, Jason is our Beginners Guide in the room, and you can post questions to him all the time.
For crying out loud you sound like a salesman. A lot of people are offering their honest opinions. Why would they target you only?
Many mentioned that your rankings were so poor on tipranks that you dropped out. That is a fact.

Also don’t you get tired of repeating the same mantra, there is a reason we have grown to 7K blah blah. If you are good, people will defend you. No other newsletter writer has such a big ego as you. I mean when do you get the time to do any work if you here so often. look at the other letters that have 5-star ratings and none of the owners has posted as many comments as you. And they have been here much longer than you. You just got started in 2019. t Makes one wonder right.
All the points I listed are valid. There might be some bad apples here and there, there is nothing you can do about that, but everyone has to deal with that, not just you. Stockgumshoe is one of the most honest places on the net and in general I have saved a fortune because of Travis and listening to the member’s reviews on this site.
Word of advice stop trying to convince people that you are so good and let others do it for you.
Its a nice theory about letting others speak for him. The trouble is that he has an army of fake sock puppet accounts doing the speaking.
Anyone can make an honest mistake typing a name. I know I am in a hurry. However, here is a classic example of AVI missing the boat by 10-mile margin. Someone else posted this link the other day but maybe you missed it.
He called for 25K Gold in 2015, fast forward to 2021 and Gold has yet to hit 2500. He missed this call by 1000 miles.

He talks about Gold hitting 25K in a decade well 7 years are almost up since that article was written and I don’t see Gold going to 25K within the next three years
It’s interesting that you cite an article Avi wrote in June 2015. Are you aware that gold went on a 20% tear higher less than one month later? And have continued that run for almost 4 years? You are taking one article out of context.
As someone who’s been a member of his site for over 7 years (it’s been around that long), I can tell you that in addition to making ‘calls’, which you or I can do ourselves, he teaches the methodology behind his words. If you understand, and agree, follow. If you understand and disagree, take it as a caveat to your plan.
I agree, Avi spends more time than he should defending himself. It’s really not needed. He’s built a trading community that functions well, and he allows others to post their concepts even if they are beyond the realm of elliott waves. He has surrounded himself with analysts who take the time to answer questions. He answers questions.
What is your purpose in denigrating him? Have you lost money? There is a difference between taking advice and getting advice. If you try the service and don’t like it, or disagree with the format or ‘calls’, stay away.

I suggest you actually read the article you cite, then you would realize I accurately called the bottom in gold with an expected multi-year rally thereafter.
Rather, you assume that I was calling for a run from 1000 to 25000 in six months? Is that really your position about my “bad call?” Again, maybe read the article next time.
Then, I see you added another few lines to you comment. And, if you would read the article, then you would know that comment is also a false representation of what I said in the article.
The bottom line is that I called for a bottom to the bear market correctly, and called for a multi year rally to begin correctly. The targets you cite are VERY long term targets, and I outlined that they are 50 year targets in the article. Try actually reading it next time.
Avi. I posting an exact quote from your article below. You use the word decade twice. and only, later on, do you mention 50 years right towards the bottom. It seems like a click bait article at best at worst your predictions are off target by a mile. Gold still has not made it to 2500 as Anthony pointed out. Why would you spend so much time pushing the Gold could make such a big run within the next decade. State the point right in the begining this is a 50 year target.
What if I was to tell you that gold could make another such run over the next decade plus? Does it seem that outrageous now? Well, I think the math shows it can and will, with the price of gold futures surpassing $25,000, and more specifically for this column, the price on the Gold Bug Index XX:HUI eclipsing 15,000. But let’s take a look back before we go forward.

Let’s come back to the year 2015. Now, someone stands before you and tells you that gold will be worth almost 10 times the current value within a decade. What would you think?

One other thing to do note is that Avi faired so badly on tipranks.com that he eventually asked them to remove all data on his site and service.
So let’s see… At the bottom of a four year bear market in gold Avi has the audacity to post that in ten years, which would be 2025 on my calendar, gold might be at 25,000. I guess we’ll have to look four years into the future to see if that’s right. Surely gold can’t move parabolically. But if I look at crypto and see the past four years, I can see how gold could get to $25K.
I’ve been a subscriber to Avi’s service for seven years, and calling the bottom in 2015 was pretty amazing. Watching him call the waves that followed that low has been a treat.
I don’t understand the psychology behind dissing a service that you probably never joined or paid for. Practically every positive post has come from paying customers.
I have been a part of The Market Pinball Wizard forum for 10 months now. I have to say this is an outstanding source of information. The accuracy of fibonacci sequences when combined with the elliot wave principle are truly remarkable. Homework is required. Anyone who slanders this service did not do there own homework or read and follow Avi and Michael’s comments. Nothing is 100% guaranteed when it comes to predicting the direction of the markets. If you would like to get the odds in your favor of beating the market, this service is a MUST! Avi and Michael are present throughout the day. They even drop in on days they said they may be out of the office. The dedication of this team for the welfare of their clients is unparalleled . The Stock Waves team is fantastic also. The Market Pinball Wizard service teaches how and where to fish. If you are hungry for some serious market gains, along with timely answers to questions throughout the day, this is a one stop shopping experience!
