This is probably the best ETF newsletter out there and it has a nice report on the market. But, I switched to the Morningstar Stock investor newsletter and like it much better. Their portfolio was slightly under performing the S&P. This makes sense because, I think it would be hard to beat the market with any actively managed ETF portfolio. Especially once cap gains and fees are accounted for. I did like the handsfree portfolio but after all, the idea is that you don’t do anything with it, so why would you need a newsletter to tell you not to do anything. To me I would prefer to read one of the Lazy Portfolio books like “Unconventional Success.” Or you could try one of the portfolios from the http://madmoneymachine.com/portfolios/ web site.
