Joined this penny site early this year. They profile one stock per week. Under $5. For the first quarter of 2012 they have 13 picks and have had extremely good results. As of mid-April, their Jan through March picks have had one triple, four 60% or more gainers and all but two are up 20% or more. The remaining two are within cents of the original price.
The triple was FONR. Their report on FONR came out Monday evening, March 12 when it closed at $2.12. It has traded to $6.80 today (April 24).

They do post all of their previous picks after some time so you can visit and see what types of stocks they pick. They appear to be and state that they do not own shares and are not paid to promote.
The website looks simple, but the reports are pretty detailed. When asked newbie questions, they answered with plenty of detail and checked back. When asked about other sites, they did not try and bad-mouth any others. In fact, they stated they used to recommend another website and sent business there until they found out that the other owner was talking bad about their site just because they charge less. (That other site does not list their previous stock picks.)
Overall, they are a good value, have good research and pick performance. What I was most impressed with was their honesty and a feeling that they were not just trying to get your money. They do not automatically charge again to renew and when asked, the owner said they thought that was “unethical” and wouldn’t ever do that. No joke.

I believe they are the only penny stock people who actually have worked on Wall Street or anything that significant. Floor traders, insider sales.

Brokers who deal with 144 and insiders work exclusively buying and selling for insiders – CEOs, Directors. Having CEOs as clients and working on the trading floor is pretty good experience. They know their stuff.

Personally, I worked near the exchange around the time of the attack and mentioned that to the owner in an email correspondence recently. It turns out that my husband and he had a mutual client back then. He was selling stock for a CFO and my husband was working with that CFO to secure financing for the company. They were probably both talking to the guy that same day, all day long back and forth.

It’s a small world.

As mentioned by Marc, the do list all of their past picks. But no, Marc, they do not say you can match that and they state right there on their performance page what the figures are. If you jump in with a trailing stop, you can do very well. I like to ride for 25% or more quickly and move on to another.

Their track record is there so that you CAN see all of their picks. Most sites do not show you that. You can compare and see who picks the stocks that rise the most. Just pull up a chart and see their picks and how they trade. I don’t know of another site that shows everything.

What I like about them is that their stocks are ‘real’. It’s not for day traders. They pick real companies that have a track record and most seem to be profitable and growing. I have not seen any pinksheet stocks, only listed NYSE Nasdaq and Amex stocks.

I have communicated with them quite a bit and they really are a family run site and are quite nice people. They actually gave me opinions on other sites I asked about and did have positive things to say about a few. Obviously not some jerks trying to take you money when they will talk good about a competitor. Their answer, the family-run thing and having actual experience on wall street sold me. Notice they don’t have their picture plastered all over like a few I won’t mention.

First, as is the case of many new sites, performance tracking is based on highest interim price since recommendation. Very misleading given liquidity of picks, and self-fulfilling boost at point of recommendation. BUT – I am rating this company based on its TERRIBLE customer service. No response, no follow-up. They take you subscription money but seem to ignore AZlL emails. I would say, based on the lack og any response, this is a scam and would strongly advise any potential subscriber to AVOID.

Maybe you had a bad experience – but I can say I’ve emailed back and forth with some questions regarding a future reverse split – they were pleasant to deal with. Their write-ups on the picks are great.

Let me start off by saying when I initially subscribed to Falcon stocks I was under the impression I was going to receive great customer service and stock picks. I was WRONG, I gave them the benefit of the doubt though and I started e-mailing them for answers to no avail. The only e-mail I ever got from them was when I signed up. The site states they were going to work on teaching on how to select stocks, that wasn’t true either. The performance of their stock is very misleading. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT SUBSCRIBE to this site. You will be disappointed…

This has been written to respond to the previous two “reviews” – and we will do so with facts.
Both Daniel Ayala and Scott Trapani have received full refunds.

We responded to both originally and we can only assume their email host threw it into Spam (we have never sent spam, but Mr. Ayala’s email is a Hotmail address. We have been fighting with Hotmail for years over that).

The performance we show on our site is not only completely explained, visitors demanded the peak gains so they could see who picked the stock that rose the most! It is fully explained and not only that … WE POST EVERY PICK WE EVER MADE since 2004! You can see the symbol, the date and price and link to a chart. In short, I cannot see what is misleading when we provide everything you need to see how every single one of our past picks performs. Did they miss all of that?
Mr. Ayala wants to be taught everything? You were, Sir, in the conclusion section of every weekly stock profile. It mentions everything we like about the stock and why we chose it. There is no MAGIC formula, no computer scan. Each stock is DIFFERENT and has a different story, or product or management team. They may be a turnaround story, growing fast, have a new mouse trap or are just plain under the radar with investors just starting to take notice and we alert you first.

The review by Mr. Scott Trapani is more concerning. In his profile he is listed as the CHIEF RISK OFFICER of the Dallas FHLB. The CHIEF RISK OFFICER felt misled by us showing him all past picks and clearly defining that the peak price is the…. well, peak price?

We are too small of a newsletter to have a self-fulfilling boost to any stock. If he had looked, most of our stocks are extremely liquid. 90+% are NYSE/AMEX/NASDAQ listed. A huge majority trade hundreds of thousands of shares daily. As an example, our most recent pick averages over 2 million shares daily over the past 3 months. Sir, we have no affect on that price.

What we find the scariest thing of all is that the reviewer who obviously does not understand what we do, is misled by having everything shown to him and believes a family-run newsletter (that still gave him a full refund) is a scam (even though we responded) — is the CHIEF RISK OFFICER of the Dallas FEDERAL HOME LOAN BANK !!! And everyone acts so surprised when the FHLB has financial trouble and somehow cannot find thousands of records and seems clueless to the problems itself caused. Lack of perception, no sense and an overflowing sense of vanity can do that.

Of our numerous colleagues, trader friends and past industry co-workers that still work on Wall Street, we have a two-member decision team that does the final research, writing and digging as well as anonymously visiting companies when we have time. One member was hospitalized for just over two months with severe medical issues. Because of that we did fall extremely behind in answering emails. However, since we are a newsletter, I doubt they are treating us equally to other periodicals. If either one here did not receive a response (in this case did not see the response that was sent) from the Wall Street Journal, or Fortune magazine, Forbes, Business Week or even Investors Business Daily, would they call those a scam? We are a research and idea provider, not a nursery school teacher or nanny. There are people who subscribe that are bewildered when we tell that that we cannot spend that many hours on the phone with them every month. We could, but we would have to charge dozens of times more than we do.

There is a reason no other site lists all of their past picks and does NOT compare themselves to us even though we’ve been online and the top result newsletter for 10 years now. They cannot compare with us. There have been two major (much larger than us) newsletters (both well-known) that STOPPED listing their past picks and now only show a select handful. The truth is because we crushed theme every year since we started. We do not advertise, we don’t do TV infomercials, and we reply to emails and write the research. We don’t have staff do all of that so we can be on TV or radio. We have spent $0.00 in ads since we started in 2004 and we made the big millionaire hotshots take down their picks history. That’s worth every hardship we endured and everything they threw at us (even hiring goons to write bad reviews and untrue performance figures). Just working harder and being honest pays off in the end.

My favorite out of my four subscriptions. They really are a family run operation. I can tell that the owner really did work on the trading floor after emailing back and forth a few times; he knew the jargon and other slang that only a floor trader would know. Good site by nice people.

Seeing the response from the “falcon stocks” person, I definitely will not be subscribing to them. Not sure if this person was just having a bad day or what, but they seem very unstable and emotional. I will stick to the more reputable penny sites for my needs.

Would have to disagree Mr. Johnston. Been reading reviews for a few weeks now deciding if I should buy a penny stock newsletter at all. I’m sure most people HERE have heard, read or experienced some of the craziness that’s out there. It sounded to me like the Falcon poster was upset at what was said about his company, not unhinged or “having a bad day”. How would u respond if u felt u were being unfairly criticized in public? If someone called ur legit business a “scam”? Scams don’t last 10 yrs. I dont know what went down with those 2 ex clients. I wasn’t involved. I DO know that those were the only negative comments I’ve seen about their site anywhere that I’ve checked and I’ve checked more than 1 or 2 places. Also notice that they were complaining about customer service and training (training?really?lol), not the quality ofthe picks they were given. At the end of the day, isn’t that what REALLY matters? Hey Falcon, u can treat me like crap n call me anything u want if u can consistently give me winners. Will b giving u that opportunity VERY soon. Hope ur family member is back on his/her feet

My spouse has used falcon Stocks over the past year and needless to say, the customer service complaints are not just a few bad apples. their response time to emails are zilch. He repeatedly tried to contact them through the site and never received a response. Some of the data they give is decent info, so we will just let the membership run its course. no renewal from us.

I was with Falcon for 2 years and has no problems and I consistently made profits. What you see on their site is what you would have got. The only reason I stopped using them was that penny stocks eat up your margin and I wanted to use that for other things. I know of no other penny stock picker that approaches their level of success and honesty. Perhaps their customer service is not so hot, I wouldn’t know. I never had cause to mail them

This news letter is great. It’s not a pump and dump, and they rarely miss in a pick. I’ve started taking some money I’ve made off of their picks and started picking up long term investments (Facebook, shoplify, Apple). they know their stuff.

Just recently joined and got a 2 yr sub. for price of 1. I watched first. When I saw that people were really making money, I started buying their stocks. They give y9u a superb in-depth analysis of past and possible future earnings. They are up front and honest. No hype. Every stock is posted with a price of the day they post, and possible buy prices and possible short term prices and longer term sell prices. And none have the hype of gee, this one is going up 500%. Hurry and buy. NOPE. None of it. What a refreshing newsletter. Real News!

Just wanted to say that Falcon Stocks really shouldn’t post people’s names and where people work without their permission (which I doubt they gave). Regardless of how they feel about their comments, it’s unprofessional.

Just subscribed. Have done back checking on their picks – what impresses me is that they pick not fly by night pump and dump companies – but ones with real earnings. Hard to find a legimate penny stock advisory service. They almost seem to follow a Ted Warren style of investing – a long base and a rise out of that base.

I had been a subscriber to falcon stocks previously and did have some luck with some of their pics so decided to sign up and give them another try, as “bad luck” would have it I had to empty out my brokerage account to pay some medical bills. I have not once used the Falcon stocks picking service since re-signing up and sent them an e-mail asking them for a refund for a service I cannot even use. It’s been over a week now from 1st contacting them with no reply, it does seem that their CS is atrocious, anyone thinking about subscribing to their newsletter just be aware of what you are getting yourself in to..

Andrew:

Although I sent an email personally, I wanted to apologize here in case you didn’t see it. For some reason, I had skipped over your message – and that was completely my fault.

You had subscribed on November 3rd. I missed your email from November 7th, but did see your email from November 11 (which was a Saturday) and issued your refund on November 13 (that very next Monday when we got back in the office).

I’m sorry that things came up and you couldn’t use our service…. Those things happen and we realize that. The last thing we want to do is keep people’s money if they can’t use us or aren’t happy. The reason we do so well is that we treat people like we would want to be treated.

Sometimes we can miss things like we did here. Just know that was an accident.

Thanks for considering us again and we hope to see you again in the future!

Only complaint I have is I subscribed for two years and they say my subscription expired even before one year. Watch your timeline. I have told them but have yet to hear back.

Dear Gar:
So sorry if that happened. It certainly would have been a mistake for some reason. I searched, but did not see any emails (but only have the limited information here). If you see this, PLEASE email us back and let us know. I will personally research it and will happily reinstate another full two-year subscription for you. Please let us know!

I really like their picks and really appreciate their research. I’ve had to contact them a few times and they’ve always been helpful and extremely friendly. They’ve even given me a detailed explanation of certain types of trades. I mean, they had to have spent an hour or two helping me out with something that wasn’t about their website. Just nice people and great stock ideas that pay off.

Just wanted to let everyone know that on March 17, our host switched to a new version of PHP and our login system stopped working. That was the problem.
We had to update our software and had everything up and running about an hour after that episode.
Sorry for the confusion!
