In the late 2016’s SCON retraced from $3.50 levels down to trading around the $1.00 mark where it has been trading sideways for 18 months ever since, having closed at exactly $1.00 yesterday.

A concern is that since it trades on the Nasdaq in the event that if it trades below $1.00 for more than 30 consecutive days it stands a real chance of being delisted.

It has been trading below 200MA for more than a year while simultaneously entering into the “Death Cross” zone then when 50MA transacted 200MA downwards – apart from disrupting breaking news that may send it upwards there is not much to support investment in in now.

Trading at around 100K / day , this is highly illiquid.

Superconductors are a wonderful tech story. One that I believe in.

At the moment I can’t see how these companies can make money out of superconductors when they compete in such a highly competitive market. The superconductor conceivably could make for higher power motors with less weight. The problem is, does this come at such a high cost that it is cheaper to simply run thicker ordinary copper wire , achieving the same result at slightly larger / heavier motor but with less cost. ?

The only area that I could see room temperature superconductors having a superior advantage is in space travel where you pay anything to reduce the weight of your electric wiring and motors in order to reduce the weight of your rocket.

So then, SpaceX are you going to buy out this little company to make lighter rockets ?

When in the position of potential delisting might they risk manipulating their numbers? TTM Beneish M is -2.02. Not good.

Thanks for today’s Friday file. While you are in UK, any chance to check out GWPH GW Pharmaceuticals PLC, based in Cambridge; also operations in California, Canada, and Asia. They are a mid-cap 3.83B. Their lead product is Epidiolex, in phase III clinical trials; using cannabidiol extract from cannabis plant for the treatment of childhood epilepsies, and other medical conditions.
I don’t recall GWPH being teased by anyone to join their subscription service, but do recall InvestorPlace recommending a couple months ago.
