Thanks Travis
You are the best!!!
In the late 2016’s SCON retraced from $3.50 levels down to trading around the $1.00 mark where it has been trading sideways for 18 months ever since, having closed at exactly $1.00 yesterday.
A concern is that since it trades on the Nasdaq in the event that if it trades below $1.00 for more than 30 consecutive days it stands a real chance of being delisted.
It has been trading below 200MA for more than a year while simultaneously entering into the “Death Cross” zone then when 50MA transacted 200MA downwards – apart from disrupting breaking news that may send it upwards there is not much to support investment in in now.
Trading at around 100K / day , this is highly illiquid.
Superconductors are a wonderful tech story. One that I believe in.
At the moment I can’t see how these companies can make money out of superconductors when they compete in such a highly competitive market. The superconductor conceivably could make for higher power motors with less weight. The problem is, does this come at such a high cost that it is cheaper to simply run thicker ordinary copper wire , achieving the same result at slightly larger / heavier motor but with less cost. ?
The only area that I could see room temperature superconductors having a superior advantage is in space travel where you pay anything to reduce the weight of your electric wiring and motors in order to reduce the weight of your rocket.
So then, SpaceX are you going to buy out this little company to make lighter rockets ?
George
I am new to stocks and trading. Stock Gumshoe is one of the real treasures I have stumbled upon. Thanks to Travis and all the Gumshoes who contribute.
Has anyone looked into Solar Window Technologies (WNDW)? I found them about 2 months ago. They seem to have made amazing breakthroughs in turning windows into energy producing solar windows. The company and it’s breakthroughs seem to me to hit the right buttons as a worthy investment. And they have gotten a grant from the government to start production.
However, when I entered their call letters (WNDW) to Yahoo Finance, a “skull and crossbones” appeared! That has gone away, but their stock has crashed from $5.30 to $4.30 in 2 months, and they don’t seem to have a friend among the “trader/marketeers” at Stanberry, which is the only firm to even mention them, that I have found. Does anyone have any insight on what might be their future?
Hi Dana
Send me an e-mail to info@stockmidas.com – will forward you an evaluation report on WNDW.
When in the position of potential delisting might they risk manipulating their numbers? TTM Beneish M is -2.02. Not good.
Thanks for today’s Friday file. While you are in UK, any chance to check out GWPH GW Pharmaceuticals PLC, based in Cambridge; also operations in California, Canada, and Asia. They are a mid-cap 3.83B. Their lead product is Epidiolex, in phase III clinical trials; using cannabidiol extract from cannabis plant for the treatment of childhood epilepsies, and other medical conditions.
I don’t recall GWPH being teased by anyone to join their subscription service, but do recall InvestorPlace recommending a couple months ago.
Michael Robinson has been recommending/suggesting/?teasing GWPH since 2013.
Hillary Kramer has been punting GWPH for some time as well., which was featured on StockGumshoe in March 2017:

It is certainly one of the more attractive Cannabis stocks to consider, innovative company operating in one of the most disruptive sectors with sound fundamentals and technicals. The recent retracement in price may be an attractive entry level.
aahhhh, maybe that is where I first saw GWPH, from Hillary Kramer; thanks StockMidas. Today June 25 the US FDA approved Epidiolex by GWPH; 1st cannabidiol extract from cannabis plant approved.
