Fred Hickey – Hi Tech Strategist
Don’t let the title fool you. Hickey’s monthly letter covers a lot of macro-economic issues too. Over the last few years, he has not really invested in tech stocks due to macroeconomic issues.
He accurately predicted the tech stock crash, housing crash, and rise of gold stocks.
He is probably the best stock researcher on the planet. I’ve covered some of his great picks Fred Hickey Stocks where he predicted two buyouts that resulted in 100+% gains.
He is also a Barrons roundtable member and you can read his thoughts and picks every January and June in that magazine.
The only knock on the letter is that you receive it by mail or fax – seems old school, and there is no contact with the author. Don’t even think about asking him a question.
How did you subscribe?
very interseting newsletter
A complete waste of time!

He does a great job of breaking down con calls and connects the con call dots between companies in technology. Fred does nice forensic accounting analysis but in the end he is too pessimistic for my already pessimistic tastes.
I am trying to subscribe but can’t find how. Can you link where you signed up?
Still a complete waste of time.
