Without doubt Stack is a smart and accomplished man. This stated, I am not sure that I understand his allocations. I put them in the Morningstar “XRAY” analysis and the tool basically puked. He is clearly focused on the US market and does little in the way of international diversification. I am not sure I understand this approach, though clearly it has worked.

I have subscribed for over 20 years and benefited by #1 excellent economic and market analysis with historical perspective and good char6s and graphs; 2) very good risk-adjusted returns; 3) side-stepped the ’87 crash and sat out the latter part of the tech bubble, preserving capital; 4) easy to follow portfolio with few trades/allocation changes. Highly recommended.

I first became aware of Mr.stack during his interview by Lou Rukeyser (WALL STREET WEEK) about 1983. I had been trading on my own account in the stock market for over 15 years then, but I was impressed by the savvy of this young man. While I tend to be a “Graham & Dodd” investor, I recognized the value of technical analysis and the disciplined trading approach of James Stack . I subscribed to INVESTECH RESEACRH. Even after over 30 years, I find I value Stack’s opinion even more.

Has Investech predicted the Covid crash of March 2020 then the upswing? How has it faired during Covid?

Best newsletter ever. I’ve been subscribed since probably 2009. James Stack has saved me a fortune by getting me out of this recent bear market early on. I know from following him for so long that he’ll let us know when the market bottoms. I don’t sell every time he suggests it, but I could tell this bear was going to be bad based on his newsletter and his charts. For the smaller downturns I hold my stocks. No matter what, he’s always right. He follows over 100 market technicals and has a stellar reputation. Customer support is also excellent. I would recommend this to anyone.
