What’s up Rocky054?

I just got this email from Seismic but I’m going to look at all the alert services Money Map Press offers and see which one has the best money back guarantee and is offering the most upside potential, don’t get me wrong I am skeptic about alert services so them offering money back guarantee is a huge plus but the worst thing that can happen is I put a trailing stop of 25-30% on whatever recommendations they give me and I lose that money no big deal and I get my subscription back. I’ll let you know which one I’ll be going with by the end of today.

Rocky054 sorry should have gotten back to you a lot sooner. Yes I picked the Seismic Profit Alert. Let me tell you how my experience was and you can decide for yourself. My whole reason for doing this was 90 day money back guarantee meaning if I could make back my $1,750 back within the 90 days well of course I would keep it. I ordered on July 16, just asked for a refund Fri, Aug 4. Since July 17-Aug 4 he had about 9 or so recommendations come out. Out of those 9 only two were winners he always tells you to put a 75% stop loss to protect your capital and profits. Out of those 9 I got into 2 trades of course not the winning or this posts would sound a little different but 2 out of 9 isn’t really something to brag about 1 of the winning trades had a 50% gain and the other was 75%. That’s my experience let me know what’s next. Does anyone have a subscription to Stockgumshoe.

Hello, he has to be using options. For ex., he state’s that Seismic Profits made a 150% gain on a $1 move, from $15.50 to $16.50 on People’s United Financial (PCBT). So, you buy an option contract at the money, or slightly out of the money (e.g., $15.75), that must have cost about 40 cents a share, or $40 for one contract (100 shares). The price goes to $16.50 and he closes the position, making $1 per share. Gain is ($100 – $40) = $60 net profit (not including trading fees), or 150% gain. Might take a while to get your $1750 back, unless you’re willing to put in, of course, a few grand on each option trade, buying, say 25 contracts for a $1000, which would net you $1500 on the first trade, etc.

It’s a joke, I joined 3 months ago and invested about $12,000 and lost about $2,500.00 I took most of the trades he suggested and a lot of the ones that he suggested getting in at a certain price….. I could not get in because the market was already 10 to 20 % higher so i never got in. Granted a few of these did make money, but even though i was sitting at my desk when I got the text alert and I immediately got into my trading account, the stock was already past his suggested buy in price. And on some of them that I didn’t get in also lost money. At best it’s about a 50 50 chance. He has a guy by the name of Dave Strehle that he is trading with and at first was showing a video of him making placing his trades about once or twice a week but when the trade losses kept piling in all of a sudden there was no more videos of Dave making money. I tried it for three months and asked for a full refund which they did, No questions asked. I am now watching another sales pitch that Dave is in showing him as just an average a family man and saying that this is the easiest money he has ever made. I real market pitch. I haven’t seen his trading portfolio for over a month now but I bet it’s in the negative, hence no more movies showing him with his profitable trades. And the bullshit prediction of how much money you can make with a $10,000 investment and take it to over $200,000 in twelve months, Ya right!! I wish these guys would tell it like it is but I guess they won’t because the real money they make is on the subscription fees that they charge. What a waste of my time and money. Thank God I a least got my subscription money back.

I have the same terrible experience.
He doesn’t publish the results of his trades. 8 out of 10 are losses.
He should retire this service

Yes, I joined comforted by the money back guarantee and the Dave video story. I’m past the money back guarantee and sticking with it (still) …. but Ray is right, the messages come too late and you can’t get in at price Chris recommends. The customer service is horrible and rude. They can’t or won’t answer any of your questions BTW neither will Chris even though there is a link to ask him questions. They keep sending you emails to join for “lifetime membership” while I haven’t even made back the initial investment. So, sounding slimely at this point – like MoneyMap – always wanting you to buy more and more product. I guess they need to push this hard so you don’t notice their products do not work? Where are the reviews? They are hard to find. When you do see them, they are not good. Anyway…. Dave videos have stopped. Chris drops the ball on letting you know WHEN to sell – a few times, that I’ve noticed on my trades. Which is problematic for a novice. Especially when he basically sells this product as a “follow the bouncing ball” program and you’ll make money….you don’t need to know the in and outs, he says.
I learned more talking with my bank than on his program. He doesn’t even mention the possibility of not just losing your initial investment (which is ok) but that say… you bought an option for a couple hundred and it loses….if not done right you could out thousands!!! Not just your initial investment. I wish Chris would go over that!

Can’t say I would recommend the program.

Should be called Seismic Loses. Took 10 trades, 2 winners, 8 losers. Losses swamped gainers. Got my money back, was in it only 2-3 weeks. Stay away. My bad for not researching closer.

Just think about it. If what he is saying were true ( 1 million % gains?) then he would be a multibillionaire and why would he go advertising the secret golden egg layer in his basement? He doesn’t enjoy being the smartest person in the room?

Been in it a year about 3 winners to 7 losers out of every 10. No way have there been 80% winners over the last year. I followed his recommendations exactly for the first 6 months and lost a lot of money. I have just tracked his plays since then and not much better proformance. Another problem is you might get a small gain which he calls a winner and complete loss on another option.

I’m a sucker for all these advisory services – haven’t found one that works well yet. Seismic uses options, selecting stocks that Chris Johnson thinks will get a larger than normal pop (up or down) with the earnings announcements. I joined Seismic because of the 80% winners guarantee and dropped after parsing the archives calculating Johnson hit 22 winners in his first 43 tries, with winners averaging 51% ROI and losers 63% ROI (although one could have cut losses to 51% by setting stop loss at 50% instead of his recommended 75%). Unfortunately for me, he hit a bad patch while I was investing, so I’m lucky I only lost $965. Kristin was right that Johnson sometimes drops the ball on when to exit, particularly irksome when he has a big winner and recommends selling half (that’s a good exit) but never says what to do with the remainder. I signed up for the lifetime program ($3500), which they have promised to return in 2-3 business days.

I also joined Seismic Profits and found it to be absolutely fraudulent!. I would be sitting at my computer when the alert would come in and the price he suggested was never even hit. The next day or two his site would be claiming “Another Winner” which was absolute bullshit. I called Money Map when this crap was happening in real time. They never argued or tried to suggest that I was wrong. I’ve tried other Money Map Press newsletters and found that they are all bullshit. You may have some winners but there is no consistency. My cat can advise me just as well! I will say that their refund policy is excellent. They have always been polite and refunded my money promptly. I imagine the people answering the phones are refunding money all day long. They never sound surprised at a refund request. AND think about it…if they really made money like they say on any of their newsletters nobody would ever ask for a refund. I would pay $10,000 or even $20,000 for real newsletter with those kind of results… You could get your money back in no time!!! DOES ANYONE KNOW A REAL OPTIONS NEWSLETTER THAT REALLY WORKS???

The insider traders (CJ) buy on the day of which the stock is released that night. Big Mo gets them out by 9:50 the next morning for a nice pop from all the mice chasing the cheese – it stinks. Front runners except the people are chasing the bulls in their underware

Most of the IPOs are overpriced. 2 to 3 weeks after the IPO is released, you can buy those shares on lesser price than IPO. Ali baba was the one held for long time. within one year after the IPO of Alibaba released at $97 a share, it fell back to $ 52 a share and stayed in that price range for long time. Snapchat IPO was $ 24.00 a share. In December 2017, the price was below $12.00 a share.

Purchased about a month ago. Many of the previous comments reflect my experience. Over the last month the win rate is more like 20%. The last 2 weeks almost every recommendation has gone the opposite direction, so almost losing 25% on every trade. A lot of the recommendations are too late to act at the price point given. A number of times over the past week recommendations have been provided with “information to follow tomorrow” which never happened. Meanwhile the stock went in the opposite direction. Seems like lately the recommendations are more like guess’.

So everyone once the $1,750 falls back on my card let’s get some suggestion on what I should subscribe to next so we can actually know what’s a good ROI and get rid of all these pretenders open to suggestions as long as they have money back guarantees.

Hey Rocky054,

Been kinda busy with new subscriptions so far I have:
Oxford Club (Director’s Circle)
Altucher Report (mostly for the Cryptocurrency info)
Money Map Press(Nova X)
Anything new on your end? If you want I’ll send you some screenshots of there portfolios, the deal I made with myself was if they can make me back my subscription before the 60 or 90 day money back guarantee I’ll keep it if not I’m on to the next one.

TTYL,

Money Map and Oxford Club have lost a lot of people a lot of money – look at the above posts. Look at the name of the “guru” and do a google search with their name and REVIEWS. The jury’s still out on Altucher, but we shall see shortly, won’t we?

can we file a case against this guy/money map press for false advertising?

First, the accuracy is definitely not claimed 83%, probably 10-20%. This is really funny because we can have 50:50 correct if we randomly select the direction, right?

Second, based on his previous alert, the overall ROI is definitely negative! if you do not stop loss, you can experience huge loss! however, their representative said”You would want to wait until you received an exit strategy to pull out of a trade. We are still holding the position in hopes that it goes back up”. what the heck is this “strategy”? 3 of the recommended positions are near ZERO value: ABC: zero value, CERN: zero value, INTC: $0.09!

This guy provide Weekly Portfolio Update. what surprises me is, he never even mentions the positions with huge loss! for instance, ABC, CERN, XLNX, INTC. On the membership site, those stocks are not listed there any longer. When did this guy provide exit alert?

You do not expect to get any explanations.

This guy is going to show up on CNBC?

“The results and trading environment have been tossed around so much that I got a call from CNBC on Thursday asking me to appear with them to discuss the market’s reactions to earnings and our outlook for the month of August. Make sure you catch me Monday afternoon at 3:00 PM (eastern time) for this discussion on CNBC’s Closing Bell program.”

I am totally lost!

Mccoy,
well i finally got through to them after zero response to 3 emails, and numerous phone calls , including one in the middle of a working day where they had shut off the phones and left a recording saying there was some command employee meeting. Probably on how to deal with all the cancellations. well after a half hour on the hold i got a hold of someone in customer service.
1. they do not cancel anything by email, nor do they apparently respond to emails
2. i was told i would get a cash refund on my “lifetime upgrade”. i only bought it because i thought the whole subscription gave us a cash upgrade– not so. the upgrade yes although i haven’t seen it yet. the subscription itself she kept telling me there was “no trial” period nor refund. After a considerable argument which i was somewhat at a disadvantage as my copy when i subscribed and thought there was a refund couldn’t be opened in my save file. (that is why i posted to see if anyone else had saved). Anyway the net of it all was that there is a “refund” if Johnson does not meet the performance target of producing 8 out of 10 winners.. Well as a professional trader, although i didn’t trade options much preferring to buy them to protect stock positions, i can tell you this 8 out of 10 is never going to happen without these guys cooking the books. like many who have commented, it is difficult to even get near his limit order entry prices, and he has never to the best of my knowledge provided for an exit strategy. Of course the big question will be how “performance” is measured in hind sight. So they are essentially acting as a bank. we give them money but if honest about performance which i believe he will never meet. (i made 4 trades and lost on 3 more money than the subscription, and could have made some money(made a little) on the 4th but never heard anything about the stock performance nor exit after i got in BELOW his entry price even. So the argument began with a lady at money press who knows nothing and kept repeating the mantra that they don’t do trial offers– finally agreeing that there may have been some language to get a refund after 1 year mark IF performance was below 80% winning trades. this i can tell you will be very difficult to prove since they don’t publish anything, and susceptible to manipulation of the numbers unless we keep track of every trade published.
For anyone considering buying anything from Money Press or their affiliates, BEWARE. i cancelled all other subscriptions i had with them because of this experience. They didn’t seem to care so it really gives the impression of a pump and dump, and would never do business with them again even if they were offering a real money back guarantee after a couple month trial.

Can we file fraud case against this guy and money map press for:

1 false statement of 83% accuracy. I believe they can never provide any proof, even backtest data;
2. I do think this guy has anything, so called seismic System: by chance, there is 50% correct. I guess this guy saw some movement in one stock and then sent the alert. This explains why his alert is always too late because price has increased!
3. Most of recommend positions mysteriously disappeared from his portfolio. Of course, those are big, big loss! I remember, weekly portfolio of August 11, he mentions DGX and said he would follow up the following week before the expiration. No surprise, it did not happen because it dropped to below 50 cents (he recommended to buy it at $4.80).

They said there would be exit alert but there is none! Can we consider this is intentional cheating? 3 of the recommended positions lost 100%! Many lost over 50-80%!

There are 2-3 winning (I did not have the chance to enter all recommended stocks).

Another thought: can we file small claim court case?

Really want to do something. This money map press should be out of business!

Maybe he does hit the 80%, but he has a considerable advantage in that you can never get the buy in limit. I’m going to try to get my money back on Seismic but keep the Radical Tech Profits. I think Robinson kind of knows what he is doing but most of it is long term positions so really don’t know yet how everything is going to work out. Anybody have any experience on how his trades come out?

I joined Seismic Profit Alert on July 17. Their Alerts are timeless, only 3 winners out of 17 Alerts, and they are not sending exit alerts after the earnings reports, so it is up to you to continue on the option contract until expire or
exit it at the best point of the trade. I am trying to cancel the subscription but they are giving me a headache .I only bought options for 4 of his recommendations and I kept track of the others. I did an analysis of hypothetical gains the maximum I could make is 8% in a month. some $575, without deducting commissions , fees and expired premiums. It is a Rip off!

I am still kicking myself for subscribing. One of the reasons I subscribed was the promise of the almost live trading with “Dave”, that was a bust! I thought as a newbie I would learn something. The money to subscribe was a waste, He rarely publishes the “seismic” readings which is the basis for his picks. I lost more money than I made in the first month and had more success picking my own. Now I feel if he is recommending an option, I stay away!!! There is suppose to be a refund if he does not pick winners 80% of the time, but I doubt I will see that, I’m sure there will be some kind of loophole! I am so thankful I stumbled across gumshoe. I will never spend money for stock tips again! I am chalking it up to a learning curve.

Hi,
Just thought I’d let you guys know Chris is bringing out a new product which he has been teasing.
‘the Night Trader’ promising riches with 5 mins work a day.
I did a google to see comments on his previous searches which brought me here.
Its on this Wednesday 20th of Dec 11am Brisbane time(tomorrow). Very slick marketing. I am going to join and if anyone is interested let me know and I’ll comment here.
Not sure how this works. Do I have to be a member to communicate directlly with others here etc.
I would like to contact Dee Wheeler if possible without being a member, or I’ll just join.)
I think we should all be sharing info amongst who ever is interested to weed out the few decent advisors from the majority who just want your money. Stock Gumshoe seems like a great place to start.

NIGHT TRADER, nice laid out scam. Open only 24 hrs to join at $2250, for first 1000 suckers. So he makes 2.25
Million in 24 hrs. Or maybe snag 2000 suckers, who knows for sure.
Why doesn’t he just take $50,000 of his own money and using his so called 3,000 % return, make $ 1.5 million per year, without compounding his investment, ???? Maybe in a court of law, he could wiggle out, becoz of using the word “Could”, and also if he gets 1000 suckers, Chris would be able to make the 3000% into his own pocket, and in effect substantiate his claim !

Would be careful of this new indicator he has “discovered” – most of them have been around for a loong time already, and are never 98% accurate as he claims. I watched some of his video tonight and read the transcript and he clearly hasn’t made any of these trades himself. Especially as he describes trades from february before the indicator allegedly even existed. And he clearly isn’t trading at night, but at the market open, probably using market orders, which anyone will tell you is a bad idea, and then a stop loss to exit. I too have tried a bunch of these services, but there is no way anyone ever sees these kind of results. I hope they will honor your refund request, but at least please let the group know how the trades go if you do join. Good luck, and I strongly suggest you paper trade their first ten trades and be real careful at the beginning. The US has very lax laws on misleading advertising unlike the UK or Australia so they get away with crazy claims here.

Hello guest, Be careful on Night Trader. Read the other opinions here on his other service. Very slick presentation almost money for nothin and the chicks are fee pitch via ZZ Top. LOL. His guarantee is another year of his service for free. Money back if you do not meet the expectation he lays out but only after one year. I noticed some irregularities in his pitches such as saying his presentation is not a video but a pdf. It is a video of course. Never showed his brokerage account. Too slick for me and I googled it and saw Gumshoe review her of his previous system. the pople here saved me from throwing away $2250 on his service. For this I am grateful. Profits Unlimited with Paul Mamily has been good for me in terms of making money. He makes good recomendations for stocks to buy but you want to check the technicals before buying. By combing tecnical indicators such as Ichimoku is a simmple way to keep on the right side of the market with these hight tech growth stocks, some medical type stocks etc. I am a thankful for this site and happy to pay a small fee to be an Irregular.

Just watched the Night Trader presentation; cost is $2995 a year with this only refundable after 12 months if you don’t “have the chance” to turn $5000 into $174,000 during the year. That wording would make me very nervous if I were buying the service.

I saw the video as well and the “opportunity to” gain the amazing return will surely be met so no refunds will be sent as you “had the chance” to profit that remarkable amount. Thank goodness for gumshoe, I nearly fell prey to this again and had the sense to do a search on Mr. Johnson who makes amazing money in subscriptions doesn’t he?

The only “Money Map Press” deal I follow is Michael Robinson’s “Nova-X”…mostly I invest in his suggestions from the “Growth” portfolio…In 2017, according to my tracking he has been successful as follows; On closed recommendations in 2017 he is 20 winners out of 20 and on current open positions; he has 10 winners and 14 loosers, for a total ytd of 30 winners and 4 loosers as of 12/18/17 according to my tracking. As for my personal executions using his recommendations: I have had 14 winners out of 15 executions and currently I have 6 open winners out of the 6 executions I have made…..

Robinson is one of the few there who has decent returns, typically on his marijuana stocks. However, you could do all the research yourself and find the companies and read the charts if you had the time. But Robinson does know his stuff in that market and tech stock IMO.

Thank you for your clear and crisp posting! Meaning NO offense, when will people learn correct spelling? It is “LoSers”, NOT LOOsers (loose is the opposite of tight).

OK – If the “win” record is 80% loss, what if we do the opposite, shouldn’t that give us an 80% win? Thx
