“Money and Markets is a free daily investment newsletter from Martin D. Weiss and Weiss Research analysts offering the latest investing news and financial insights for the stock market, including tips and advice on investing in gold, energy and oil.”

I have been a subscriber since early 2009 and have found the commentary interesting, straightforward, and quite relevant on past, present and future market trends.

ALL, PLEASE STOP HERE!!! Please look at the reviews for “MILLION-DOLLAR CONTRARIAN PORTFOLIO” on this website for the real truth about Martin Weiss and company. This free newletter is just an advertisement for a more expensive money losing venture!!! BEWARE NEW MEMBERS, MARTIN WILL DESTROY YOUR WEALTH!!! Martin is just a marketing machine with a lot of hype. This free newsletter cost me dearly and I don’t want this to happen to anyone else. He has some interesting views but he cannot execute a profitable trade. Just read all of the members that lost on his Million Dollar Contrarian Portfolio… Read more »

Totally wrong. Listened to these guys & totally missed the upswing. Total doomers & gloomers who underestimated the power of controlled government / media / banks & the power to print money (by all nations)& be held unacountable. Remember to big to fail & the power of greed! Bad news means nothing if the trend is up. Play the trends & the hype! Reality doesn’t count anymore as long as people can convince other people to pay more for what they bought for!

……….aw, c’mon…….you’re just spammin’ us, eh?

“up 400% in a single day”?

………..guffaw, snicker.

I hear that using the robot may cause blindness (or is it dumbness)……

The free letter is sometimes interesting to read. I subscribed to the Million $ Contrarian Portfolio for two years (about $2500) and was extremely disappointed. I actually made some money by being anti-contrarian and investing in some of the things they said to avoid, like Silver. Don’t waste your time or money with this crowd.

Martin WEISS is as it says “a conman” he and his employees are money making machines that never ever tell the truth about their trade results.

I subscribed to Money and Markets in 2012, when Nilus Mattive was its editor. Some notable points about the Newsletter. 1) Performance: The investment advise of money and markets is ever-tinged with a mentality of ‘gloom and doom’ . I lost count of the number of advisories that I received from them that essentially proclamied, “the world is about to fall apart”, and buy these defensive positions. Every turn at the Euro crisis last year, was guaranteed to receive a letter, advising me to get into defensive positions, e.g., buy long dated inverse ETFs such as EUO, that all lost… Read more »

I just do not understand why Martin Weiss and his gang of liars and crooks are not all locked up. Now he is giving away 12 million free free free- to his friends who presently subscribe to one of his many plans. Just pay him a couple of grand and you can have all of his money and markets gurus’ advice for a lifetime. Advice that will lead you to the poor house. Maybe word is getting out about their exaggerated promises and he can’t find new suckers. He tells everyone that this is a great deal because all of… Read more »

One should NEVER buy inverse ETF’s, Take one look at the stock market trend over its life time. It just keeps going up, despite the crashed. If you have a crystal ball to see when to invest in inverse ETFs and when to get out of them, then please invest, otherwise, you are guaranteed to lose your money.

I actually made money with Martin’s Contrarian portfolio. In the beginning he was picking some good stocks but using his “system” he was buying and selling to often. I did not renew for a second year when he held on to I believe it was GILD while I sold it when it was in the $122+/- range. He had another very good financial pick, but again he kept on buying and selling which gets expensive even with an on-line broker. Some of his picks I would have never thought of buying such as Cracker Barrel which ended up being a… Read more »

I got an offer to subscribe to PROFITS CALENDAR at the end of last year and the advertised price was 3000 not 300 Bucks. The authors of this service were supposed to be Kathy Lien and Boris Schlossberg who are forex experts and also were supposed to edit the service. However it turned out to be Toni Sagamii instead beating about the bush about some figures and expectations with hardly any results covering even my expensive subscription cost of $ 3000 . Just save your money and stay away, as you will lose more money instead.

MARTIN WEISS, I’ve subscribed to you in one way or the other over 20 yrs, BUT YOU HAVE SURE LET US DOWN NOW. YOU SHOULD HAVE HAD THE CURTISY TO LET US KNOW YOU WERE SELLING OUT TO BANYAN. YOU MIGHT CALL IT A MERGER, BUT IF WE CAN’T REACH ANYONE BY PHONE AT WEISS FOR A MONTH AND BANYAN ANSWERS YOUR OLD PHONE NUMBER SOMETIMES AFTER AN UNGODLY WAIT, I CALL IT A SELLOUT. MY MAJOR CONCERN, I’VE FOLLOWED LARRY EDELSON SINCE THE LATE 1970s AND MIKE BURNICK SINCE LARRY DIED FOR MY GOLD ADVICE. NOW THAT THEY ARE… Read more »

Max, I bought into Weiss years ago with a low one time fee for his Executive Club which provided all non-premium services for life!
I also think that we all were kicked to the curb. So far I haven’t fallen in love with any of the four letters I was forced into at Banyan.

I guess I must have given these guys some money about a year ago. Didn’t realize everything that Weiss & Co. are involved with. The Money & Markets emails are always highly inflammatory and not worth anyone’s time. As a newbie about a year and a half ago, it was easy to fool me into thinking that the emails were worth reading. Once bitten, twice shy. In checking my Visa bill this month, I discover that they have helped themselves to another payment, which I definitely did not authorize. Not even sure what it was for, all it says on… Read more »
