I just saw an ad with John Boehner and Mike Ward pushing “Founding Member” status in NCIS. For $49 I figured what the hell, and subscribed. Before I could close the page I was offered a “Lifetime” membership, where I would be part of the “inner circle” (I presume I’ll get John Boehner’s home phone #), and my questions will be answered first, and I’ll have “access” to the corridors of power (unlike the ordinary shlubs who paid $49). Dr. S….Same thing happened. The only reason I watched that presentation was that I knew that Boehner is on Acreage’s board. Thought they would have something to say about Acreage. I should have exited as soon as my wife, who was overhearing , say’s “It sounds like a sales pitch”…Boy was she right. I cant thank you enough for the truth about these companies. I was thinking about joining but after reading all the comments about the rip offs no thanks. I’m so sorry for your lose, before investing I like to look at what people have to say about a company it is just a good idea. I sure hope all of you people that have been ripped off get your money back and then some for you aggravation.

The only way to save some people of getting involved with rip off people and hard earned money. I truly think if NCIS had the opportunity to present their statistics and research to more season investors, this company will never approach individual people.
Sounds like they REALLY want to make some cash-o-la here…Almost desperate sounding. When do YOU think pot will be legal on a federal level? Hummm?
I had the similar experience. I wrote them once about offering the IPO to me since I was on the inner circle. I think that it should have been part of the kick-off debut that I attended. Never a response. Just another sucker for the guys who are experts…mostly at taking me hard earned money. My account is down 45%. No one advised me to sell b-4 it went to H in a handbasket. It would be nice to find a truly integral agency to work with that is affordable.
I joined the Cannabis institute for 79$ and never received any info. So I called and said I had joined and they gave me the website and saw the upgrade for a lifetime membership for 495$ so I upgraded my membership and they said I could apply the 79$ that I already was charged for, I looked at my bank statement was charge for both payments I called them to cancel my subscription but was offered only 39$ for a year so I thought that would work for the info. I joined December 4th, and as of today December 14th, 2018 still haven’t received any information. I called & they said it is on back order and I should receive it by next week.

I got my e-mail within 10 minutes last night. It’s all on-line based even though it looks like hard copy books. They’re just links to web articles going over companies of interest. Did you get the e-mail at least? I’ll e-mail you what they tell me, I don’t mind, but I’d rather you get it straightened out. I went minimum, you can see my other posts on here today trying to figure out what went wrong. For 79 bucke, they send you requests for more money. Not very much on pot stocks. You will see the same old stuff over and over…. ripoff….

Sorry, I thought you were talking about National Institute of Cannabis Investors, not National Oilwell Varco. I don’t know anything about them at all other than being a stock. My previous reply was in regards to the page being about National Institute of Cannabis Investors website sign up for information. So everything I wrote has to do with them.

I joined last night for $79 and said “no thanks” to the two upgrades. Received an e-mail in less than 10 minutes with all links leading to their website to provide intel with their weekly reports, the weekly report WAS active and had insight on a few options. They are legit, you do not need to go full out with them but they do have “inside” information on the “green gold mine” and have suggestions both good and bad in the report. To save time, I fast-forwarded to the end of the presentation, pressed the “Join” button to see the cost of their offer(s), but did not enter credit card information. The next day, I received a “Fraud Alert” from my credit card company that a charge of $79 was attempted to be placed on my card by “Capitol Information Group.” I don’t know if there is a connection to the “National Institute of Cannabis Investors” but I don’t understand how one’s credit card information can so easily be obtained and charged.
It seems that many gripes are about having to pay more to learn more (aka additional research/service/efforts/company outlay). People unfamiliar with what is involved in higher categories are making judgments about what they do not know. That thought process leap’s a little premature in my estimation.

It seems as though they ask for money to get you in, then they ask you for more money to see this report and they ask you for more money to see that data. I think the only ones making lots of money are the folks that have ownership in NICI. I am not impressed and think it is close to a scam……..
Now you know. They all work this way because they cannot make money on the market.
I agree. My gut tells me to go no further. I’d rather take the $2000K I was about to upgrade to and invest that 2K into actual stocks that my gut guides me to. Otherwise, I feel we’re just making MIke Ward and Danny ? and other NICI talking heads richer than they already are.
Joined last week for the $79 membership and got the mailout a few days later and have used the website to introduce me to the cannabis industry and potential investments. Since I was pretty clueless about pot stock, nici is doing for me about what I expected. Cannabis industry education and some trade info. The $79 was worth it for me. But I never intended to spend $500 much less $ 2000 for their upgrades. I’m going to put together a small portfolio of pot stock 3-4000 dollars and let it ride a year. I paid the $1995 for NICI’s “Cannabis IPO Insider”. I have followed them very closely. Read everything and invested in their “Hot IPO recommendations” Truth is all they want is your money. They bait and switch to higher paid exclusive benefits memberships that never stops. They are hard up for money and are easy to figure out once you join. Firstly, I am sorry for your loss and thanks for your insight to the public. I’ve been doing the same in speaking out to the countless people who e-mailed me since my comment below. Talked to many circles about the same exact experience. An IPO is Day 1 release and yet they don’t allow it. We’ve discovered it’s bull. It is a hype and the non-refundable is a force to be reckoned with, just bad business and any future credibility is lost from each person involved employed in their staff. Thanks for the info. I have been sucked into these offers before and lost money, but not as much as I would have if I had taken the whole lie. Money Map press, NICI, Total Wealth Insider, Technology Profits Confidential, Aurora — all are apparently in cahoots to suck in new believers of their “systems”. for making money in stocks. It seems there is some antipathy to mention of the latest NICI offering, Cannabis venture syndicate, offered at $4,950 per year. The posts were all excerpts from NICI emails. If anyone is a member, I am sure you received them also. Anyone planning to join?
The stars rating formula atop is ridiculous. Anyone can vote despite the “guidelines”. Does anyone seriously believe that most of those doing so are in a position to evaluate based on a reasonable degree of involvement (i.e. investment within the company) in determining their evaluation. From what’s written below it seems clear this is not the case and most people are voting on the basis of very little accurate and truly significant information.
Why would anyone care about the accuracy of the Stars Rating Formula? I doubt anyone visits this thread prior to making their decision to enter a subscription to NICI.
I did make the decision to visit the BBB and then I saw this site and decided to check it out and learn about the company THIS way… before I invest my money….

It’s very obvious the negative posts re NICI are by people who are NOT members. They seem to have only watched the mike ward video. I joined on day one. Based on info from NICI I am up 80% in Aphria, 80% in Cresco, 80% in Cronos, 30% in Canapy Growth and the list goes on. The stocks which are down a FEW percent are still very much worth holding. My initial fee for joining has been returned 10 fold. NICI was without a doubt the best investment I have made in the Cannabis market.
