I joined paid my $37.00 for yearly membership to receive near future reports. ???

The near futur report is cheap and certainly worth the low fee,Jeff Brown is ahead in his approach of technology to come and one can make good money from his advice,he touted AMD at – $11/sh it’s still about + 100% and was even +200% a while ago, now with 5G to come the next wave of big profits to expect with nokia and other interesting picks and shovels stocks to build the network will reward very well.
He has another service that is very expensive about $2500 where he advices to buy small companies that could go tenfold or even higher on the 5 G build up to come ,but didn’t subscribe because of the high price tag ,due to some research I did myself I think I know the companies he’s advising ,these stocks are more risky but with huge potential. You should never pay high fee’s for whatever advice letters because most don’t deliver what they promise and even if they deliver with some help of stockgumshoe and some research you can often find out what they are recomending and decide if it’s worth the risk putting your money in it,I see often recs for the most insane and worthless stocks I wouldn’t youch with a ten foot pole like what happens now with some worthless pot stocks and these guys often charge huge fees for that ,do your own DD before you buy.
I have confidence in Jeff Brown’s near futur report adviceletter.

The review above is from Nov 2018. It is yesterday’s news.

Folks, in Feb 2021, this newsletter is garbage, will load you up on red returns right now. Brown’s model portfolio with all these 3-digit-plus gains – that Brown brags about – started their run in 2018, 2019, and 2020 after the huge covidiotic drop. Most of the stocks are now above their max-buy price. The few that are below – which I bought – have been disastrous. Now that we are getting a bit of a correction, some MIGHT be worth considering (like one ‘5G’ stock I bought for $4.50/sh, below his $5.50 max, but has new cooled to below $3.50/sh…lovely…and this is just one example).

My recommendation is to avoid this unless we get a MAJOR correction. The Near Future Report portfolio sure looks like a compilation of overbought, overpriced stuff at this point, on Feb 27, 2021.

I am a member of Jeff’s Near Future Report. I have made more money than I have lost on his recommendations. I like to stay up with the technology of today and the future. Since joining Stock Gumshoe i’ve learned to watch recommendations rather than jump right into a buy. I do enjoy Jeff’s knowledge in the tech sector, so i’ll give him a 3 star rating.

Guy has insight into tech stocks. Predicted the rally in Microm, Nvidia, AMD… He trades in stocks, not options. The recent downturn hurt his portfolio. Into blockhain and 5D. Unpretentious – no irrelevant political bs (ala Bonner, et al). Sane, unlike Teeka and Altuscher, et al. Best of all CHEAP $37/yr

This reminds me of the scam by the author of “Rich Dad Poor Dad.” I agreed to the lowest-price entry level of $49, received some meaningless “new-age” propaganda along with e-mail recommendations to penny stocks too small and worthess (not to mention evanescent) to be of any use, and saw a charge to my credit card of $300. I’ve protested to his machine, and if I’m not “allowed” to discontinue my “membership” I’ll consult my credit card company about the next step. Here’s the only difference in the “Near Future Report” (Get it? The synonym for “near future” is “imminent.” You’re buying nothing but the promise of something to come–“The Imminent Report.”) He can reply that it’s still imminent or that he sent it in cyberspace and that it’s your faulty junkbox filter that scammed you, not his “imminent report.” And don’t forget, he’s speaking from Yale, representing the cutting edge of progressive academic thought in the Ivy League. Moreover, he’s a cerebral “guru of greed” who understands that most of us are perfect fits for Freud’s “infant stage,” totally involved not in the ecosystem but instead wrapped up in our ego-system and its insistence on having its needs, desires and pleasures met NOW, not later. “Investing” has no part in Jeff’s “Imminent Report.” He promises a get rich “overnight lottery ticket” for buyers of his report(s), which automatically excludes self-reflective adults who clearly lack Jeff’s “discipline” to study his stock recommendations or to master the ancient arts of self-defense that Jeff lays claim to. Yale University should be more than a little embarrassed about their association, regardless of how marginal it is, with the Bonner Partnership.

Tell your credit card company to charge it back. First contact the merchant and give them two business days to issue a refund and avoid the chargeback.

Agreed. I was really sad to see Robert Kiyosaki has apparently sold out. During the “interview” he barely said a word and didn’t really offer much while the other two hucksters were sell sell selling.

All you have to do is look at the top teaser for 2019. Jeff Brown is out front for fast gains there.

I ordered the Near Future Report and got NOTHING!
No report, no bonus, no access and numerous emails to member services were never answered. Phone calls to customer service are pointless as no one ever answers the phone. Conclusion…It’s a scam!

I subscribe to several newsletters. This one is the LEAST EXPENSIVE subscription and has made me the MOST MONEY by far. Normally uses trailing stops to protect downside, but Jeff Brown had the foresight (or guts, or both) to remove all stops when the market was in freefall in March. I listened and stayed in my positions, which are now up tremendously. Last issue he said to be on the lookout for updates where he may choose to do some selling if things are getting too frothy. He also provides more service that other newsletters I have: Sends and email when a stop is hit in the model portfolio (a good reminder to check your own stop). Writes an update on EVERY POSITION, EVERY MONTH. Nobody else does that — they tend to pick and choose. He always gives price limits on buy recommendations. I do well buying all, unless they go out of range too fast and never come back in buy range. He also does a good job monthly of kind of ranking the recommendations in buy range for how attractive they are for new money.

I subscribe to all of Jeff Brown’s services since late April 2020, and his stock suggestions have already increased in value by double-digit(some even triple) percentages. I’m new to investing and have tried several investment services, and Jeff is the best!!

Not to throw cold water on your enthusiasm, but virtually all stock indices and especially tech stocks have gained double or even triple digits since then. I’m not besmirching Jeff Brown, but the proof will be seen in how his recommendations perform when the markets return to a normal behavior – I.e. after the COVID-19 recovery has played itself out. Good investing going forward!

So Jeff Brown has a “new” 5G report out today, June 26th promising to give us the 3 top companies
ready to take advantage of 5G. Any opinions out there?

But when you subscribe to any Jeff Brown newsletter you then get not only ads for every Jeff Brown newsletter but ads for every Jeff Clark newsletter, every Teeka Tiwari project (and he’s big into crypto) and even every Casey Research project. Jeff Clark supposedly tells you three option plays that you just keep running all year, one was GDX one was AAoI but he has now decided there are others instead XLF and XLK.

Wow! Rightly so, Normally Dubious. I find myself in the same boat? Seems like I am listening to a group of Guru’s peddling a “This is definitely for YOU” report, if you want to get rich today rather then tomorrow! A group that seems to be targeting anyone that’s new to investing or lacks the market expertise to jump in both feet first. Unfortunately, the confusing part is how these guys all manage to imply that their special report, even if four or five months old, in today’s economic “COVID” economy is still relevant? Trust in yourself and if you hear something, research something! Don’t just through away $50 here and $100 there for those so called “Special Reports” after all that is money that could actually be going towards assembling an investment portfolio for yourself instead of adding to some professed Guru’s bank account! Newbies need to stick together, not attempt to fin for yourself in “Shark infested waters.” After all, if I hear something, post something and you research something then maybe we can all make something instead of just feeding the Guru’s? Just a thought, free of charge!

All of the homerun gains are yesterday’s news, based on market gains to now. With the Dow now above 30K, and correcting, it’s a money-loser. Now, if the market drops like it did a year ago, some of these picks might have a good run again. But it sure looks now, at the end of February 2021, the easy money in Brown’s “Near Future” model portfolio has been made.

So, if there ever IS a listing of newsletters where “past performance is no guarantee of future results” applies, this “advice” newsletter should be at the top of that list. All my “near future” has been with ‘guru’ Brown’s picks is red in color. At least they refunded my money.

AVOID unless we get a 30+% ‘correction’ in the market.

If you are considering buying Brown’s “Near Future Report”, know that you are late to the party. VERY late.

Wait for a huge market drop, then subscribe. Right now you’ll be spending a lot of money on a model portfolio that is 90% well above the max buy price. The one’s that aren’t have been mostly losers, and for darn sure none of the triple-digit gain stuff Brown bleats about to pump-up his brilliant picking skills.

Now, if you want your email inbox to get slammed with spam from other stock-advice ‘gurus’, then by ALL means buy Brown’s “Near Future Report”. You’ll get more “Act NOW!”, “Just for YOU!”, ‘hot tip’ FOMO crap than you EVER imagined. Still trying to weed out and cancel that mess.

At least Brown gave me my money back.

Good grief! We get it. You’ve replied to every post – you really think you have an axe to grind and want to make darn sure everyone knows this is old news despite what almost all the other reviews say. Thanks for the warning, but 27 times is more than enough reprints! We appreciate your thoughts.

Reply to Dortelli:
What’s wrong with INTC? (Intel). It’s gotten too big and bureaucratic. I spent years of early career in the computer industry and found that small start-ups comprised of real talent with big stock options are the ones to buy shares in. The talent always moves from the overstuffed big firms with expensive top management and rich insiders to the smaller, more ambitious and innovative outfits that get financed by smart venture capital. INTC will plod on for decades peddling me-too products while AMD and NVDA and the like run circles around it because the top technical talent has already migrated.

Jeff Brown has been replaced with Colin Tedards – in June of 2023. Jeff referenced health issues one time that I saw on one of his many long videos. He had an impressive background in the tech industry and loved telling long expanded narratives to make his points. I found Jeff’s many emails were loaded with “can’t miss” side pitches and were difficult to distinguish from his member update information .

Colin appears to get to the message without Jeff’s round-about discussions. I hope this continues because initially anyways Colin’s presentations make sense and the side-pitches from the others trying to upsell are clearly presented as side-bars… as opposed to integrated and mixed into the main message.

Colin has committed to shorter videos with transcripts. His pruning of Jeff’s portfolio makes sense and his updates and market comments appear data based AND, so far, without side pitches.

Colin is asking for member feedback. Let him know what you think and need. So far his approach looks promising.
