In order to buy Canadian Marijuana stocks, do I need to go through the Canadian stock exchange? If so, how do I establish an account? Thank you
Try investorline .com, or interactive brokers but why would you invest in Pot stocks your money will go up in smoke.
Yes you need to buy on CSE in some instances, I think it’s better to use a bank online brokerage. Most except for National Bank Direct Brokerage require a substantial investment to find your account. You can learn more at nbdb.ca, after trying a few others like questrade, interactive brokers etc, I notice the only thing they have going for them is cheaper commissions. The overall quality of questrade etc is likened to Blackberry or Nokia, when you consider the bigger banks though the commission’s are greater, the overall service is comparable to an iPhone. I hope that helps…
Most Canadian stocks have an OTC stock in the US. Cronos group is listed on the NASDAQ. The largest Canadian Marijuana Company is Canopy Growth Corp. In Canada it trades as WEED.TO but is TWMJF in the US.
in order to invest in Canadian marijuana stocks you do no need purchase ( most ) of them from a Canadian exchange ( anymore ). You can find tier OTC: ( Ticker )symbols on American broker ages. OTC = Over The Counter.
I subscribed on a lark and picked up a couple of good tips and several not so good tips.
Methinks that one must spend way more time and treasure to use some of these sites than is necessary. You get much the same perusing Gumshoe and from a broader universe of publications.
Have been a subscriber for a couple of years. He has made a lot of good calls. Wish I had invested in more or held on to some when he suggested it was needed. After trying a number of various low priced letters, I would rate his as one of the best. Of course he doesn’t bat 100%; has had some stinkers.
I’ve made some very big profits following this newsletter…NVDA for example last year. There are some stocks that haven’t worked out, but I don’t expect 100% of them to be right. Many have been very profitable. The price is very affordable and for me has been well worth it. They all hype way too much and are always trying to sell you more expensive services so you have to be careful. I once took a free trial subscription to another of his services and without realizing it was then charged $1200. without prior notification that I was now subscribing to this service. I called them and they removed the charge from my credit card. It was a good thing that I was watching my accounts very carefully. Overall, I’d say that I’m very positive on this Nova-X subscription.
I subscribed to get the Marijuana Investing Reports, which are excellent. Truly gives you a good look at a lot of companies in the cannabis world. I read Nova-X by default and cancelled it, but not for any good reason, other than I already subscribe to a lot of newsletter. Nova-X does make some great recommendations with good reasoning…stocks that have big potential. I’ve been trading my own account for 4 years now, after taking it away from a broker. Debatable how well I’ve done on my own, but I’ve certainly learned a lot. I subscribe to 4-5 newsletters and two websites, (still cheaper than paying a broker 1% – 1.5% of assets under management). Probably spend about $3,000 year on all of it, newsletter, Vectorvest and IBD software. These are all great places to find, research “ideas”. Without the input, I’d probably just be following the herd. Nova-X is as good as the rest with their own choices and reasoning. For the price, why not? It’s worth the info and cheap, considering letting a broker manage your account.
I hae and still subscribe to NOVA-had some decent winners and losers. Net net about even, but I don”t have the risk tolerance for his 30-40% stop losses, so I don”t use the service much
I got Nova-X Report for I think $39.00, to get his first Marijuana Millionaire report. It was a great investment and I’m way ahead on my Marijuana stocks.
I subscribe to Nova x report 2nd yr in a row.
Though I take all recommendations with a grain of salt .
Michael Robinson is an excellent salesman,as well he knows technology like I know trains.
Lets face it ,this newsletter will get your thinkolator going.
Think for yourself but this is a good source of ideas.
Customer Service couldn’t explain why several months of the most recent snail mailed copies of my reports were sent to a family member’s address in NY when my sole address of record with Money Map Press, as verified by Customer Service, was in FL. Subscription cancellation was readily offered but any refund of the prepaid subscription amount was denied. Copies of past months mis-mailed reports were also offered but what good is old investment news?! The Customer Service rep said “the IT Division” was responsible for addressing the mailed out newsletters, something that led me to believe maybe the IT guys had been snooping through or otherwise obtaining mailing addresses on sites I use for family members (i.e., Amazon.com or other gift mailing sites) or that family members use for me (i.e., Hickory Farms or others). No matter, if that’s how Money Map Press does business, then can’t or won’t explain it, all the while putting their collected subscription fees above customer satisfaction, I’d say don’t do business with them. I didn’t find any investment recommendations in NOVA-X REPORT worth the hassle of dealing with the Money Map Press Customer Service.
I have been a subscriber of Nova-X for 3 years and I am pleased. I just did a quick count of Robinson’s portfolio and find the following:
2016 buys = 12 total and 12 up
2017 buys = 15 total and 12 up
Some big winners (double digit percentages) and no big losers. I think a “tell” on his approach is that there are no stocks for less than $5–ie. most are mature companies and his research seems solid. He has made money for me.
I’ve subscribed to the Nova-x report for the past year and I’m happy with the subscription. I’ve subscribed to numerous technical newsletters during the last 30 years and I find Nova-x report to be more reliable than most. I don’t buy every recommendation but do enjoy learning about some of the new technology areas that are identified.
Like many of you, I get frustrated with all of the hype from all of the newsletter industry but understand that their trying to make money like I’m trying to make money.
I do enjoy the addition of the marijuana industry and realize it’s a high risk area and only intend to invest a small portion of my portfolio.
I don’t see Nova-x as a fast way to accumulate wealth but see it as providing steady recommendations.
this is a total scam! Somehow my card was hit 3 times; first two times for small amounts, then the third time for $99 WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION!!
Do NOT subscribe to Nova-X reports and give them a debit or credit card number! They will rip your card once or several times for $99 and send you NOTHING! These shitbirds should be in jail!
MIchael Robinson takes you boldly to places you may not think to go.
He is informed.
That said the newsletter organisation pesters you to no end. Using his newsletter letterhead.
Michael gets a little fanatical as he tries to convince you at times about a revolutionary product or trend. Not that he is not correct just very vociferous at times.
I joined nova x report because of the cannibis millionaire campaign. Back in 2/2017. Of all the stocks he recommended. I chose 4 that have been amazing. Three out of 4 are over 100%, one over 400%. I am very green investor, but I did some study on the companies and then made my choices. I made money and it was fun. You can call it beginners luck. I will continue with his letter.
I have been a Passport Select member of Money Map Press for almost four years. The promotions I see from them to pull in accounts are terrible. The only services I use at this time are Michael Robinson’s Radical Technology and Nova-X Report. I have made an enormous amount of money from his services. He sent out a report on recommending Bitcoin and Ethereum early or middle of 2016 and I bought Ethereum for around $8 and Bitcoin for $250 range. He also began the Cannabis newsletters the end of 2016 and the several stocks in his Cannabis Portfolio I bought(CANN, TWMJF,PRMCF,EMHTF,MEDFF,HMLSF) have 100%-600% gains in the last 4-8 months. Despite some losers, his technology portfolio has also performed well for me also. I am surprised to see the WATT teaser because he sold that in early 2016 and it is not in his portfolio. I just wanted to mention what he has done for me and really don’t want to promote his services. I think Money Map Press otherwise sucks.
BS
I have followed the Nova X Report for about two years so far. The articles about the tech stocks are well written, and his picks are generally quite good. It’s not just the cannabis and Bitcoin stuff, which he usually does in “special eports” outside of the main newsletter.
I’m very, very happy with it and have made nice profits off of his recommendations. I don’t like most of the Money Map Press offerings, but Nova X is quite good and well worth the price.
Terrible people to deal with. Never received any reports. Called many times with no results Finally cancelled. Still waiting for refund..Material may be good but if you never receive it how do you know..
This has been so helpful i really have no idea what to say. i wish there was someway i could repay you. the money was well spend to say the least.
I’ve subscribed to Nova X from the start and really like it. Well worth the money. Mike seems to be ahead of the crowd in many cases (ie marijuana, crypto currencies, tech stocks) where he has picked fabulous winners. No guarantee it will continue but I do listen to what he has to say. It’s been very profitable for me and I will continue to follow him.
