OptionMonster Option Trader Pro ($249 per month)

Description from the OptionMonster.com website: optionMONSTER’s Option Trader Pro is an entry-to-mid level, real-time service for traders looking for promising ideas and better risk management. Sign up for a virtual seat on to the trading desk of co-founders Jon (‘DRJ’) and Pete Najarian, and learn to trade with discipline. By following big institutional traders (what the Najarians call “smart money,”) we call on decades of floor-trading experience to pick which trades to follow, all while emphasizing risk management to guard against winners becoming losers, and losses getting out of hand.

Service recommends out of the money calls/puts which are VERY high risk. If you want to be separated from not only the $249, but incur significant losses, subscribe to this service.

Both the guys are nice when it comes to providing information and imparting options education but if you want to learn while ear, I would sound caution.

Most of their options recommendations end up in loss and they will tell you any option worth less than $60/contract a cheap short and will keep it till it goes down to ziltch, zero as they expect some kind of surprise to happen at the very end of options expiration.

what about other options, you ask…well they will tell you to cut loose if you lose half of your options positions and majority of them will end of like that barring a few where you would be asked to smoke “cohiba”…

In summary, I’ve tried both their services – Inside Options & Options Monster Pro and both are over priced and lack consistency of results and are not worth time and money. In the name of meeting their quota of plays, they keep on delivering rotten trades. They need to devote more times to research to keep their customers happy.

epic fail. out of 19 transactions in 2022, only 5 are profitable, the rest expired worthless. instead of the promised profits, there is a loss. profitability is at the level of approx. 26%, profits, if they are, are rather low. sometimes you get a better deal that doesn’t change anything overall.
waste of time and money. only hopes were dashed. on the website they only boast about profitable transactions, and when I asked for a list of all transactions for a longer period, I was ignored. and it is like that every time because i tried several times.
stay away from it.
