I have subscribed to OC for the past 5 years and find it good value for money. I have also subscribed to at least half-a-dozen other newsletters over the same period and have dropped all of them. The OC appears to have a good cross section of contributors. They are quick to recognize a mistake and advise accordingly.
of all the news letter I subscribe to Oxford’s income letter is the best in class.
I paid my $49 and have not received anything.
Let’s see how much I get back???!!!
signed up for newsletter and several free books and have not received anything. I thought it would be electronically sent to me via email.
Have you received your books and newsletter yet?
Is the InsuranceReturnChecks a valid program? Do you have a brochure on getting involved if it is?
The dialogue catches ones interest but the absence of specific authoritative citations to include IRS authority raises ones suspicion so I have to decline the offer and do some research before I jump in. There are any number of wild claims on the internet so one has to be real careful before jumping into the water absent some sort of validation of claims, but which on the surface it does gets ones attention. Caution is always the best route to take before jumping right in without due diligence. Never a good idea. I know because I have being burned in the past. And based on some less than positive comments I choose to pass at this time.
I joined this Oxford Club thinking it would be worthwhile; yet now having read the materials it appears to be worthless. Has anyone else had that experience. Did they give you a money-back guarantee? Has anyone applied for the return of their initial payment? If so, please klet me know how to do it. Thanks You, Charlie
What materials do you feel is worthless? Oxford Club promotes solid investment success principles, but the copywriting, touts and free reports can be annoying.
I am very satisfied with this one: I have watched and acted on their suggestions whenever I can and generally things have worked out well.
My criticism extends to just about all the newsletters out there. It’s the hype and the urgent pushing to dive in that irritates me about all of them. I feel like gumshoe is like a lifeline for me. If i didn’t have you guys, my gullibility wud have thrown me out on the streets long ago.
Are there any other newsletters out there that don’t throw all that bull at me? I wud really like to know.
Thanks

No, because that is how they stay in business. Otherwise you wouldn’t have access to the proprietary research because you wouldn’t be able to afford it.
I subscribe to both the Communique and Income letters. Oxford’s research does turn up some very good value picks. However, there is usually a significant time lag between when the research is done and the BUY recommendation is sent out. It is not uncommon to find that the recommended stock has jumped 20% or more from the newsletter’s “at the time of writing” price to when the alert is made available to subscribers.
Top 20% of the investment news letters out there. Reasonably good research but discipline over conviction makes them better than most. Alex Green is a skilled writer and his occasional investment and even social commentary scattered occasionally in the letter make it superior reading. Articulate, well reasoned, and thought provoking insights into both our investments and our human condition make Greens commentary and his books worth a read.
You have just deducted $79 from my account. STOP. Reverse the charge immediately. I cancelled this program one year ago. I no longer want to receive your information!!
Had you purchased the recommended HNHPF, you would have already made your money back!
Definitely good information
I am a subscriber/member, very pleased with the results I have gotten from recommendations that I have chosen to follow, and I especially enjoy the up-to-date info on all the segments of the markets given by each analyst in his area of expertise. I would like to purchase all the recommendations, but as Alex says to his son “you can’t kiss every pretty girl”.
Best of all the newsletters to which I have subscribed. Two thirds of all the recommendations I have tracked over 13 years have been profitable. 83% of open positions on 11/27/17 are profitable.
Wow, I’m amazed at so many derogatory comments. I find Oxfords investment letters, and updates to them, honest and informative. When an editor recommends an issue to buy and/or sell, it is given an in-depth analysis regarding the recommended issue. Then, your due diligence along with your risk tolerance, will dictate whether to make a market or not. Oxford explains and shows you the extreme importance of investing fundamentals. Once you get that, you can advance from there if you want. What other firm will explain that to you. For DIY, this is an excellent investment source. These negative comments have no basis at all. It shows no understandings of how investing works at all, so just have to blow steam off blaming the company. Other newsletters sell additional things too. Thinking otherwise shows no understanding of business structures, etc. Oxford lays out the blue print for wealth. Then you either build your wealth with it, or not. If not, your negativity will never get you anywhere.
I was just watching something from alexander green about a 3.00 stock that is a MUST buy but he says you gotta buy by Aug 20th.. buy buy buy don’t lose out!!!! if you don’t subscribe now you’ll miss out ..yadda yadda yadda…. It’s such a sales pitch he keeps says I’m going t give you the name of the stack here in just a few mins but before I do let me tell you a lil more about whyyyy you should get in NOWWWW!!! Then you click on the button, because you’ve sat through the long video, where he’s going to tell you this “secret stock name” And where does that take you…. yep you guessed it, enter your CC info here to subscribe… It’s like the company is starting off with a lie… So this “SECRET STOCK NAME” that you gotta buy before Aug 20th for $3.00..
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT IT IS IN THIS GROUP?? You guys subscribe to the news letter.. Is this real or not??
Yes, Tammy, we know it because Travis and the Thinkolator covered it less than a week ago, not because we subscribe to all the newsletters. (If you try the search feature first, you often don’t need to wait for a response.)

You close asking if it’s “real or not”, and I don’t know how to answer that. You need to do your own research and decide whether you want to buy a stock. Members may say if they own a stock, but no one will tell you what to do.
Yes it,s real,… I subscribed last night,… by morning the info was there.
I have every confidence,… I looked up the stock on my trading platform and could see it was was tradeable… @ $45 usd. Subs. There is no risk,.. even without the money back guarantee.
Happy investing…
Jurgen
Yes, the same thing happened to me and I still don’t have the name of the little $3 stock. Why do this to people? Let us know the name of the stock so if we want to buy into it it’s a plus for you.
Re: Oxford Communique
Carol, if you paid your $99, call customer service and let them know you haven’t gotten the report yet.
I suggest you read Travis’s report on this stock: https://www.stockgumshoe.com/reviews/oxford-club/alex-greens-single-stock-retirement-plan/
In the meantime, the stock is HNHPF, and if you want to buy less than 1,000 shares, you may need to shop around. TDAmeritrade allows any size purchase, for example.
it’s clearly in the first doc you receive after subscribing
And I could buy (not many – as a test) through my usual broker in Europe.
The stock is Foxconn it is on the Taiwan exchange. Fidelity international desk can (for a price) get it for you. Jack Koenjg
List on the Taiwan exchange as 2711 TT. Put in limited order. I got it for $2.46. U.S. Fidelity will convert U.S. money to Taiwanese.
What is the 4 dollar stock?
Financial Ignorance + Financial Porn = Dumb Money.
Alex,I just read the January Communique,I hope the readers that response to your stock picks read why you research the company so you can say it has potential if they can get their future plans to work, but I am afraid the readers are going to the bottom of the article to get the name and ticker symbol and three days later become a millionaire, just a thought.
what are some the stocks in the nano crystal revolution
Having trouble being able to buy Foxconn HonHai precision industry co. Ltd. , tried through Charles Schawb, Morgsn Stanley. Is there something I should know?
Carolyn, you can buy as few (or as many) shares as you want at TD Ameritrade as HNHPF.
You would also enjoy Travis’s earlier write-up and the comments: https://www.stockgumshoe.com/reviews/oxford-club/alex-greens-single-stock-retirement-plan/
I bought Foxconn like I was told when it was selling for less that &3 at least that is what was said in the ad. I immediately lost 50% using tdameria trade. Why because tdameritrade said there are no dbl shares they never heard of anything like that so when I could have purchase for under $3 I paid $5.76 a share. Bad advice
If you paid $5.76, you almost certainly bought ADRs — each of those is worth two shares in Taiwan, which is what might be meant by “double shares.”
The company might not be a great investment, I have no idea how it will turn out, but the price disparity for your purchase is not that dramatic.
It is double shares, I own it and you get two shares. I bought in at 4.69
I had no problem buying Foxconn through Charles Schawb. Just call and ask for their international desk, as recommended.
T D Ameritrade made the trade for me while I was on the
phone with them.
