If you really want to help the good ole Irregulars, highlight a stock here first and then have a set policy of releasing it a week later to the free audience. This will give us a head start (we deserve it as we support the Gumshoe) and then when the free audience finds out about it, it will help support the stock. Nothing illegal or unethical that I can see as long as it is a clearly defined policy that all are aware of.

It will also encourage the “free folks” to join the irregulars! 😉

    Win-Win-Win.

James Timpson”s suggestions are very good ones. I would also add a suggestion for evaluating investment advice newsletters. A specific criteria for how complete of a disclosure the newsletter makes of its past investment performance would be extremely helpful. The Fool Adviser and Outstanding Investments are the best that I have seen. Anything from Agora Financial is probably at the other end of the spectrum. A second suggestion would be for ease of cancellation. In my experience many newsletters make it very hard to do so. Cheers to All. From a new member as of today!

New member as of today also. Has any one else received this teaser? “Bursting with Gold: How Newfoundland’s Golden Mountain Could Make You a Fortune.” Any ideas?

    Hi Travis,
I’m a pharmacist, practicing 50 years now and I believe the lay-public has no idea about the overwhelming amount of narcotics being dispensed at all your local pharmacy’s.It has gone beyond all reasonable quantities.
I have no idea whether this company’s (HYTM) treatment is any good, but there is an enormous need for society to get a grip on the amount of narcotics in your local community.

    Hi Travis,

I was reaing the reiew of Newsletters and Top one seems to be one from Chris Weber – I am interested to know whats your opinion on the Newsletter?
Here is what I found was strange about the reviews: There are totally 35 reviews. 24 out of 35 reiews are posted in February 2009! Specifically 6 reviews on Feb 16 & 8 on Feb 18! Is it just coincidence or something fishy about it? I definately dont want to offend any Irregulars who might have posted their comments. I will be more than happy if someone proves me wrong on this. Thanks!

President Obama’s charm offensive in China has put the spotlight on the region.

Investors in Asia have done astonishing well this year.

So well, others are worried they’ve missed the boat.

I’m Robert Hsu and I am writing to you today to tell you this: where China leads, India, Taiwan, Singapore, Russia and Brazil follow.

So yes, China’s tech leader, Spreadtrum Communications, is up 512% year to date—but Russia’s steel giant Mechel is up 440%. And India’s Patni Computer Systems is up 262%.

    Get the picture?

In other words, the incredible boom we’ve experienced in China stocks is spreading—fast.

If you missed out on doubles in China in 2009, don’t miss out on triples in India, Taiwan, Brazil or Russia in 2010!

    Hi Travis,
I have just had a quick scan at the irregular page, and came across a comment from a Mr Patterson, who wrote about his disapproval at your suggestions on Africa. I would suggest that he does not understand the point of this website. It seems to me to be as much about honesty , as investment advise. The subscription is a donation to keep the site going. It also has members from outside the USA, I am from Ireland

You mentioned that the 12% letter was not in the top 10, can you tell us who are the top 10?

Finding it hard to know where to post questions – but – any thoughts on John Lansing’s Parabolic Options service? Thanks.

  12. Michele A. Purcell says:

Have you commented on Lee Lowell’s Instant Money newsletter? I know it refers to selling naked puts. Wonder if there are any other letters specializing in that. Also, is there a place on your site where I could type in “Instant Money” and find out if you have covered it?

  13. mikefromnj says:

    What about Lee Bellinger?

  14. secureret says:

Travis, Greg McCoach is spinning a yarn about his “Most Exciting Gold Discovery In The Past 50 Years” somewhere near Timmins in Ontario and currently trading at around .30 cents a share.
    Was is the thinkalator saying?
