anyone use this service? let me know
I signed up for this service in December 2017 after receiving an email promoting all the successful trades. The service suggests both stock and option trades, but I was mainly interested in the option trades. The options trades are long calls and long puts with a time to expiration of 1-6 months. The website showed all previous alerts, so I went through and came up the following historic results. In 2016, there were 13 alerts with 7 winners, 6 losers, an average duration of 33 days and an average return of -7.3%. In 2017, there were 42 alerts with 30 winners, 12 losers, an average duration of 43 days and an average return of 23%. In 2018, there have been 17 alerts so far with 10 winners, 7 losers, an average duration of 37 days and an average return of -9.5%. It appears Linda does better in a directional market than the choppy one of 2018. I would not recommend this service. The track record is inconsistent. The recommendations come at random times during the day when you may not have access to place them at the suggested prices. Also, Linda will often target a sector and place trades on 3 similar companies; two will give nice returns while the other is held for 100% loss wiping out any gain from the other two. There are better strategies out there than buying calls and puts. I was hoping Linda had figured out how to get consistent returns, but I am left disappointed with this service.
