Does anyone have any feedback on using Zacks Research Wizard software as a lifetime member? If so have long have you used it? What has been your track record following the software? What is your preferred filter/technique that you follow? Have you been through a recession using it and the outcome of that cycle?Thank you for your help!

I signed up for the Zacks home study (including Research Wizard) course & paid a small fee for this. In using this I was amazed to see the results they were claiming in their videos (their system of buying Filtered Zacks #1 stocks only, up 32%/yr over 15 years while S&P 500 up 12%/yr during same time period). I may try their system just for thrillers, but to me it almost looks too good to be true (or at least if it was true, someone here surely would have commented if they were getting such amazing returns). Will repost after trying it for awhile.

I purchased Research Wizard last year, lifetime subscription for $2900, I believe. When you do backtesting back 15 years or so, it seems to beat the S&P benchmark. For the past year, at least, the strategies haven’t work for me, and backtesting most was disappointing. Some of the picks were horrendous, one #1 ranked stock (JE) took a dump as soon as I bought it. I expected it would come back, so held it, only to lose 2/3 of my investment (in about 3 months). It does give names of interesting stocks to further investigate.

Hi drgschmidt, Any update on your Research Wizard Experience? I’m considering buying it but looking for good reviews from active users. Many thanks

I’m considering a lifetime membership with Zacks, so if theres any feedback from anyone on Zacks it would be much appreciated. I’m a lifetime member of Stansberry and have several other subscriptions with other companies as well. Oxford club as well. They all seem to have there trick marketing schemes and this one really cracks me up. The guarantee they will work for free for another yr. if they don’t come through for you. How’s about the old moneyback if you fail us.
It we be nice to know if Zacks is a one in all type solution.

I tried out Zacks Ultimate. It’s not for you if you want to make money with short-term investing in stocks and options (expensive for what it provides which is not useful in my case). What I don’t like is once you provided your personal data, including credit card info, there’s no way remove them even after cancelling your subscription. The same with your e-mail address; I keep getting spammed by their e-mail offers.
