I’ve been a subscriber for about two years. He provides a monthly newsletter, plus email alerts when anything changes. His method is no secret, in fact you could probably emulate it yourself using public data and his book, if you have a lot of time and patience. It’s worth the price for me to have him do the calculations every day and alert me as needed.
He switches, on average, maybe three times per year, and since he tracks two indicators sometimes he is 50% invested. If you followed his recommendations you’d surely have done better over time than buy and hold, but of course not every switch turns out to be profitable.
The method is designed to work with a broad US market index; he doesn’t provide any recommendations on stocks, sectors, or international investments.
Overall, I am pretty satisfied with the service, and he does provide a pro-rata refund at least during your first year. Customer service, when I’ve needed it, was prompt and helpful.
