I have been in Tom Gentile weekly option program for over three months and have lost 85 % of trades. Some of the trades that were a loss he explains as a win of over 100%. I have the proof of fraudulent reporting profits. It’s time for a class action law suit for Tom.

Thanks to all the Gumshoe Irregulars for helping me save $2000. I’m still recovering from that other “guru” Manny Backus and frankly cannot afford another ‘can’t fail” fleecing. The only truly wise investment I’ve made is to Travis’ excellent publication. He tells you if the baby is ugly!

Everyone, please understand that the 100% returns Tom is telling you or representing in his letters is all Hypothetical and not real. They are all fiction and made up. He tells you this in his disclosure. Please review as per disclosure: “Any performance results described herein are not based on actual trading of securities but are instead based on a hypothetical trading account which entered and exited the suggested positions in securities at the times and prices referenced. Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations. In fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results… Read More »

when i was only 21 i started going to the horse track with a friend that was in my company. i was in the army and stationed in new Orleans where the horse track was. my buddy was a friend and his father was a neighbor of the most successful race horse owner that ran his horses there in New Orleans. i went only to have something to do for i had little money to gamble with. we had passes to go where the horses and trainers were. the first thing i learned is the very wealthy man that had… Read More »

I signed up for weekly cash clock and got eight straight losers and zero winners. I bailed out before my 60 day trial ended.

HI Doug, Were the 8 loser trades all in the month of August? Did any of Tom’s recommendations at all were winners?

Thank you Gumshoe and everyone who posted re Tom Gentile. I listened to a long video about his Weekly Cash Clock and was tempted to pay $2495 (non-refundable!) for it, but after reading all the comments, I think I’ll pass.

If he’s doubling his money every week, as he claims you can do easily with his Cash Clock, he must be ridiculously rich, so how come he’s selling stuff online and then not giving refunds? Very fishy.

I love this website.

In October 2015 I subscribed to Money Calendar alert through Money Map Press, I also subscribed directly to Toms own website give me direct access to the Money Calendar software allowing me to vet my own trades using the software. I can say with absolute certainty this is not a trading strategy, its gambling. It wins sometime and losses sometimes, but there’s nothing fundamentally sound in the approach. There are no seasonal patterns in stocks. They go up or down based on an immeasurable degree of market forces that follow no laws or trends. Regarding Cash Clock, I subscribed to… Read More »

I think you’re being far too easy on Mr. Gentile. Talking to him, he’s a likable guy. I met him when he was associated with Optionetics and I respected him then. The information and education he and his partner had to offer was (and is) excellent. That was then… somewhere along the line the train went off the tracks. What Tom Gentile is doing now he’s doing with intent and purpose. The bad product you think he’s stuck with is HIS product. He takes full and complete credit for all aspects of this dog and he’s selling it for all… Read More »

Original Nke rec said sell to close for 100% gain. Subsequent instruction said sell only 50% for 100 % gain. Hold other half for further gain. Today he claims we sold all for 100% gain. I was waiting for instructions to sell second half as instructed. ??

I previously was aware of Mr. Gentile through Optionetics. At that time I respected him but that respect has pretty much evaporated. I got caught up in the hyperbole and joined Mr. Gentile’s weekly cash clock early this year. At that time there was a guaranteed 30 day refund. I would never try such a service without that protection. I participated in four trades. The first trade he recommended after I joined was unapproachable at the price he recommended. Two others saw very modest (5-8% gains) and the last trade he recommended was a loser out of the box, losing… Read More »

John I took 10. DDD, +11%, SSYS -50%, SPY -17%, NFLX, -32%, VRX 100%, WDC +50%, FSRL, -100%, VXX, -50%, ORCL -50%, CAT -61%. Cash Clock is crap, it was poorly vetted and based on computed charting. I would love to live in a world where a computer program can predict market movements but that world doesn’t exist. At my current projections it will take me until 2018 to recover the losses I’ve received from following Tom Gentiles trades through Money Map Press. Where to go from here? http://www.optionsmoneymaker.com/ I’ve made $5,000 in my first month trading credit spreads on… Read More »

Sorry to hear about your losses…yet one more victim of Money Map Press. I would not at all be surprised to see the VRX trade featured in future Cash Clock propaganda. I’ve (finally) learned through hard experience to stay well away from Money Map Press. All hype, no substance. I think they do quite well but only because they sell lots of high priced subscriptions. I’m inclined to doubt they actually trade anything let alone make money in the markets.

I filed a complaint with SEC against Tom Gentile of Money Calendar for his fraudulently manipulating underlying securities’ entry/exit prices in options trading to show false profits by forwarding to SEC one of his outright false advertisement. Investors who lost money by following his ‘Money Calendar Alerts’ should do the same.

thanks again Gumshoe, and for all those who commented, for helping me avoid this claptrap bogus fleecing of the naive but hopeful. we need this garbage like another hole in the head…

All of Tom Gentile’s victims should pull together and present a petition, with the facts, to the SEC exposing the Tom’s lies and demand that he face Fraudulent prosecution. He has hurt enough people and needs to be stopped. Enough pressure on the SEC from enough public traders will destroy this thief.

Tuesday: 100% gain on GLD Wednesday: 122.6% gain on GLD Wednesday: 107.4% gain on GLD Wednesday: 126.3% gain on GLD Thursday: 80.4% gain on COST Friday: 100% gain on SPY Friday: 100% gain on PCLN Just a tiny $500 stake in each of those trades added up to $7,183 cash… in one week. This is what Tom Gentile just advertised that he did in one week. All are a bunch of lies. None of his traders made this money. Actuality is they lost. I can’t believe the SEC puts up with this. My favorite part of Tom’s news letter is:… Read More »

STAY FAR AWAY from this service…have completed 30+ of his suggested trades and have lost money in 70% of those trades…down over 2k in about 3 months…a monkey could provide better odds of success

Thanks to everyone who put forward their observations on this character. Overwhelmingly it appears that the old saying “If it seems to be too good to be true…..it usually is” pretty well sums up the situation. I’ll be savin
